  1. Pretty much. This is like interpreting Pat Elflein saying the O-Line isn't playing well enough as throwing Cam Erving under the bus.
  2. Yeah, that's...not at all what he was saying but hey
  3. Yes and no... Darnold didn't play a bad game, but he also played a very safe game. That was the same reason we couldn't win games with Bridgewater at quarterback.
  4. All it took was a look at Marty Hurney's record as a GM to know that he should have been fired right away. Mr. Analytics doesn't actually look at analytics.
  5. Word that Nathaniel Hackett isn't gonna be doing any interviews until after the regular season is over. Still holding on to the hope that one of them is with us
  6. I wouldn't want Richardson back. I'd very much like for David Tepper to stop being a dumbsh-t.
  7. In regular daily operations, he's not. Unfortunately, he was stupid and gullible enough to fall for the sales pitch of the dumbass he put in charge of this "cluster f---". (and apparently also moron enough to keep him around for another year)
  8. Applauding terrible decisions doesn't equal "Cheering for my team".
  9. Oh sure. The 2020 and 2021 seasons don't add up to two seasons. (at least not to those who didn't pass first grade math)
  10. Admitting that he doesn't know sh-t about football would be a good start
  11. Pretty sure he'll just keep Jeff Nixon. He can backfill the RB coach spot with one of his former Baylor guys who got let go from LSU (DJ Mangas).
  12. The only remote chance you might have at Aaron Rodgers would be to replace Rhule with Nathaniel Hackett, and even then I wouldn't bet on it. If anything, I'd say keeping Rhule ups the chance that we draft a quarterback with our top pick. Guys like Rodgers, Watson and Wilson aren't going to play for a lame duck who's been a disaster so far. Hell, what free agent worth their salt at any position is gonna want to sign here?
  13. Odd comment seeing as it only took two seasons to know that Rivera had to go. And if you're not counting the 18 season then it really only took one. That would tell me two seasons is certainly enough time to evaluate Rhule.
  14. That was his dad. (he passed away a few years ago)
  15. Even if you excuse him for the 18 results, it doesn't change that this is his fourth season and things are getting progressively worse. And honestly, the fact that he saw the 18 season results and kept the same people in charge doesn't really speak well of him.
  16. Hadn't thought of that, but it's possible. For what it's worth, the source is married to a reporter who covers Miami U.
