  1. If you're gonna plagiarize Florio, at least link it. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/03/09/report-steelers-are-not-interested-in-deshaun-watson/
  2. Speaking from the perspective of a quarterback looking for a new team, I'd much rather go to a team that's already starting over than sign with an organization where the head coach is likely getting fired next year.
  3. Of the teams that have need for a quarterback right now, I can't think of one who's in a worse position than us. Some of the ones who potentially could have been already fired their bad coaches.
  4. Don't know that guy from Adam. Do know Shaun king, though.
  5. Yeah, I haven't seen a single legit source back this up. Did see this...
  6. I went several years just enjoying the game of football without having a favorite team. It wouldn't be hard to do that again. Hell, it's actually less stressful.
  7. I've never understood the argument that since this one guy got away with something, this other guy should get away with it too. Uuuhh, no The answer is that the first guy shouldn't have gotten away with it either. Letting someone else get away with it doesn't somehow make the situation better.
  8. Or that it means the Texans could say "Hey, you guys should do that too"
  9. And if those "entertainers" happen to victimize a few women along the way, that's okay as long as they keep "entertaining" us. Is that how it works? I mean, it's not wrong as long as you're rich, famous or talented, right?
  10. She's not exactly a big fan of Jerry Jones as is. On that front, she agrees that should be investigated and Jones punished if they find something on it.
  11. Speaking as the husband of someone who's survived more than one form of sexual victimization, what would you suggest I tell her to explain how watching a football team win is more important than her feelings?
  12. It's actually been documented that the legal stuff began before the trade demands came out.
  13. From the football side: It makes no sense to trade what it would take to acquire him while we're in a rebuilding state. From the moral side: If he's guilty of even a portion of the things that he's accused of, he's not someone worthy of cheering for. From the PR side: Making someone with this kind of profile the face of your franchise, especially in light of both what happened with Jerry Richardson and the promises made by David Tepper, would be extremely detrimental, not to mention hypocritical. From the practical side: Only an idiot would make a trade like this while he still has all of these legal issues hanging over him. From the personal side: Having known and cared for women who have been victims of things like harassment, sexual assault, rape and other forms of victimization (sadly, including Lady Cowboy Fan) I cannot in good conscience support something like this. Don't think I could make this any clearer...
  14. Oh, I have little doubt that the Panthers are going to make me feel bad, but it won't be because they exceeded my expectations.
  15. I feel like this is a more accurate statement.
  16. I'd like to hope Tepper isn't stupid enough to agree to terms with what's still hanging over his head, but sadly there's plenty of evidence that he's an absolute dumbass on football matters.
  17. I like not seeing us listed in these discussions.
  18. Unless Carroll wants one last hurrah...
  19. Reports indicated it was a possibility though the general thought was that he'd be allowed to retire.
