  1. It is a decent amount of staff to let go (and have to replace) especially with them all concentrated on one side of the ball.
  2. Write plays, game plan, coach the overall scheme
  3. I think speculation was Nate Carroll was gonna take the QB coach spot. Haven't seen as much former Seahawk influence as some expected so far.
  4. Hard not to notice the path: Steelers, Colts, Cardinals, Bucs
  5. Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting a sense from looking back at Canales and Idzik's respective backgrounds that their Panther offense might be more pass heavy than previous editions. That's just a hunch, though.
  6. To be fair, an awful lot of NFL paydays are based more on what you're expected to do than what you've done.
  7. Goodwin succeeded Russ Grimm in Pittsburgh, didn't he? Seems to have had a long association with Bruce Arians that I imagine started there.
  8. All have decent reputations. Goodwin is likely the best known and most successful.
  9. I mean, if I were on a plane flying to meet some guy at his convenience and mid-flight he goes "nah, I'm good", I'd be pretty pissed.
  10. Bit of contrast...some guys we couldn't wait to usher out the door.
  11. Florio says we were also looking at Bengals QB coach Dan Pitcher
  12. Yeah, it sounded like they were ready to do whatever it took, and he basically just said "Nah.".
  13. McDonald and Quinn might be good bets.
