Elsewhere in the sports world, this story from our "holy sh-t" department... https://x.com/byajperez/status/1875985591512560091?t=VZm-4U9efhjS4CsALeBXRg&s=19

My top barometer on Bryce right now is actually Lady Cowboy Fan. She's been a very big critic for most of his career to date but watching him over the last several games she's said to me "You guys might just have something there." That's more encouragement than I've had in a while, so I'll take it
-
Which one? (gotta say it feels really good that I'm able to say that in reaction to the thread title)
-
Not a fan, but I think it's important that Canales have control of his staff.

Potentially interesting... https://x.com/CalebGoatQB1/status/1875961777445584964?t=xNauBHVYQSHdMvrOc6WjXg&s=19 Poles calls Lions OC Ben Johnson a "brilliant play caller" but says that what the Bears need is a "leader of men". May very well just be posturing, but it could be that's the profile of what the Bears want in a head coach.

Rap Sheet says the next Jags coach will report directly to the owner, not Baalke. https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1876266146153783763?t=bb7vlNdELH6lRw-X1E0KGg&s=19 Not sure that does anything to take the stink of Baalke off the job...

Starting off with a couple of no brainers (Bears requesting both Lions coordinators) https://x.com/TomPelissero/status/1876265032662851650?t=peov8_LkpO7ABKBKnSZhPw&s=19 Jets, Bears and Saints have also asked about Glenn. https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/1876266146153783763?t=bb7vlNdELH6lRw-X1E0KGg&s=19 Expect the Lions coordinators to be popular; have seen some speculation that Aaron Glenn might be a good choice for the Saints...

Mike Jackson expresses a desire to stay out of gratitude to Dave Canales... https://x.com/GabeMcDonald_/status/1876074174709457357?t=kN8mOVBEk6kMuPEgK7GDEA&s=19

Shock around the league at Baalke being retained https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1876266201137156204?t=s-iIeld0YXzsgz4M4nMwug&s=19

Here's where it gets weird, though: Pederson is out, but Trent Baalke is staying. https://x.com/Schultz_Report/status/1876260373021782029?t=LJRRaolduAi4PLYpRj7DbA&s=19

Confirmation on Pederson... https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1876257759869718684?t=B6iZvq_SNYEBM7__9raFlQ&s=09 And with that, welcome to Black Monday everybody...

Apparently... https://x.com/RapSheet/status/1876261113748459790?t=6PC4iRcMo9zgoqervUCyFA&s=19

I have, but it's been a while.

That was expected.

Is the rule that everybody we want will be gone by the time we pick in effect yet or is that coming later?
-
It is, however, a given that there will be some on here arguing that Sanders is the most generational pick of all generational picks ever made
-
Plus those commercials...
-
It's not a given that this will be a good decision.
-
The person who was in charge when they were here wasn't exactly Coach of the Year

Some of the play calling wasn't helping him. A big 58 yd run got them close to the goal line and then they called four unsuccessful pass plays.
