  1. That contract is gonna be a massive albatross around Joe Schoen's neck.
  2. As to today's game, I hope I'm wrong but it feels like this one has the potential to... ...hurt a lot
  3. Minter was like a randomly appearing brick wall that opposing players frequently ran into.
  4. I should add that given who's on our schedule today, this statement could turn out to be...I'll timed.
  5. When it came to personnel matters, Fitterer deferred to damn near everybody.
  6. My sense of humor has limits. This would be one of those things that falls outside them
  7. Not sure if it's been mentioned but Newton will be appearing on the next season of Fox's "Special Forces" show premiering in January. (the Mrs and I are fans)
  8. Lady Cowboy Fan has made mention of that a few times this season
  9. From Josina Anderson... https://x.com/JosinaAnderson/status/1857965223547646432?t=_zxItvfuBfeTrAQYYm2qpg&s=09 Can't embed, so screenshots for easier reading... Unknown if any talk related to Carolina. Possible, but I'd say unlikely.
  10. If we ever found a Fountain of Youth, I'd pay to have Ryan Kalil taken there.
  11. He was getting head coaching looks when he was with the Seahawks.
  12. Passing accuracy is my #1. Fast processing / decision making would be my 1A.
  13. Generally in simplified, gimmicky systems with limited route trees and minimal read responsibility... Young most certainly has physical limitations, but enough super athlete quarterbacks have failed over the last few years to throw significant water on the idea that you can "just coach them up" as long as they have all the athletic tools.
  14. I wouldn't be surprised if his attitude doesn't show up at some point with his new team and direct us back to that discussion
  15. Jonathan Brooks is going to need to be really good for me to get over my anger about passing on Zack Frazier.
  16. Honestly I'd argue that what most of them are doing in college right now is an argument against them starting right away rather than for it.
  17. I'd say more of a Derek Anderson style backup, though anything's possible. Look what happened with Geno Smith
  18. The Texans would likely disagree too. It's a case-by-case thing, and in the case of Williams, well...
  19. Yell...a lot (she's not a fan)
  20. I'd consider that a legitimate possibility
  21. Can't speak for Canales, but I'm not sold yet. He deserves credit for playing well the last few games though. I'd be okay with him starting the rest of the season. Ultimately I'd still say his ceiling is as a Chad Pennington type player.
  22. https://x.com/NFL_DovKleiman/status/1856399610366882012?t=Lo5sR-mMfntOOQMMMS1LyA&s=19 The "Waddle" of Waddle & Silvy being former Bears receiver Tom Waddle...
