Well, so much for that...

First five games... -
They'll also need to ensure she takes enough naps. (I could probably help with that; these days I take plenty)
-
I'd be worried about her size, though to be fair she is at least a little bit bigger than Bryce Young
-
Reports have confirmed that the Panthers never talked to Wilks about working under Reich, or to Reich about working under Wilks. Neither did they ever consider doing so. That was pretty much just a fan fantasy.

It's not hard to picture Bozeman back in September looking at his wife, asking her (and perhaps somewhat asking himself) "Baby, what the hell did I sign on to?" Oh, how things change. Mind you, if he does stick around we will owe at least partial gratitude to Steve Wilks. -
Don't know. There was some internal pushing for Shaw. If they don't get Ryans, maybe that's their fallback.

Suddenly starting to look like Denver is gonna lose out to the Texans for Ryans services

I've seen this a couple of times recently, and I've gotta say few things scream "don't take what I say seriously" quite as much as trying to compare only last season's records. It's a really stupid argument.

Well if you believe the reports, at least early on it was Ben Johnson. Pretty interesting that Reich had already been in contact with (and apparently received answers from) several coaches he's interested in hiring during the interview process. Said before it might mean the task of filling the staff won't take long, but there would still be external factors like whether assistant's teams were in the playoffs and such.

Remember Daboll with the Giants last year decided rather than just hiring people he knew, he was going to try to get the best fits for what they wanted to do. I wonder if Reich might consider a similar approach.
-
Honestly I'd say the majority of Matt Rhule's hirings fit that description.
-
I've seen a couple of different analysts mention CJ Stroud as a guy who would fit very well with what Reich does on offense. I would say based on his description of the qualities he values, he doesn't sound like someone who would subscribe to the "just draft a big armed athletic guy and try to teach him how to pass" philosophy.

Granted, most teams try really hard to antagonize new coaches in their introductory videos, but hey...

My guess is he'll get in touch with some of the team leaders at least...
-
That's a good one. The clip with Kristen Balboni (posted elsewhere) is good too.
-
Apparently some confusion regarding the introductory presser...

Here's a big deal...

Word was Condoleeza Rice was pretty firmly behind Shaw.
