Nah. If you're someone who can make an intelligent argument and defend your opinion, I'll have plenty of respect for you regardless of whether what you believe lines up with what I say or not. On the other hand, if your argument consists of making up sh-t like "his players quit on him" and/or you're just somebody who wants to be an annoying internet dick, I'd consider you worthless and pathetic and frankly don't really give a flying rat's ass if your feeling's get hurt. Not everyone who posts on here is deserving of respect, and I'm not interested in making any special effort to be nice to trolls.

Maybe he's gonna do this every February just so he can listen to everyone talking about how great he is, then go back to playing until he gets another Super Bowl win

A court did recently rule that people could sue movie studios for misleading trailers. Maybe...

Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule
Mr. Scot replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I went into this hiring process afraid he was gonna do something stupid (like give Sean Payton everything he wanted). He didn't. -
This could actually be an interesting opportunity. In the arbitration hearing, would they be able to revisit a few of his post dismissal statements under oath?
-
Oh sure... 1-16 would paint a much clearer picture

That's the operative question.

Frank Reich's Intro Presser - Today, Noon EST
Mr. Scot replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Actually 40-33-1 If I remember correctly. Who were you hoping for? -
Joe Person on possible coordinator candidates
Mr. Scot replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I kinda like having previously fired head coaches as coordinators. They tend to be pretty good at what they do and there's less chance they get hired away than there would be for younger guys. -

Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule
Mr. Scot replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wouldn't say Tepper is forgiven or trusted at this point, but he does deserve credit for at least admitting to having been wrong. As far as the rest of it, well...there are always gonna be people who take up weird viewpoints; some because they're a--holes, others because they're just not very bright. Hell, not much more than a few months back we had people still trying to argue that if we just gave Matt Rhule one more chance he could lead us to the playoffs -

Same. I'd expect the Eagles because Reich has history with people there, but you never know. -
Results to date are 1-7, including giving up the biggest comeback in NFL history. So...not looking too good so far. Lemme guess: You're one of those people who enjoys defending really stupid ideas just for the heck of it?
