  1. Or delusions of competence, at least... I can't believe we have people riding a Matt Rhule hype train. Do people really see him blossoming into the kind of coach that can win championships in the NFL?
  2. Well, if you really want to brag about something like that after Week 3, maybe you should say we're undefeated against divisional opponents I' d probably wait until we see how these things play out before crowing too much though, but that's just me. (granted, you might not get too many chances to do this sort of thing if you wait)
  3. Don't think I'm confident saying something like that based on games against the Giants and a beat up Saints team. Show me they can handle better offenses and then maybe we can talk .
  4. Funniest tweet in a long time...
  5. Ho...lee...cow What a dumbass way to lose a game.
  6. There's some redemption for Gage.
  7. Leftwich got too cute with that last playcall.
  8. Allen did improve a lot when Dorsey became his QB coach. Mind you, he's not my top choice, but his connection to Morgan could be meaningful here.
  9. We don't have to see all that. When a team looks unprepared, or they get penalized too much, or players make too many mental mistakes, or when other teams make adjustments that change the course of a game, or any number of other things, there are coaching issues. The biggest sign of poor coaching though? Consistent losing across multiple seasons. We've been doing that...and still are.
  10. You think he'd still be progressing with Urban Meyer?
  11. By not being as good at his job as the opposing coach was. (it's not really that difficult to understand) And we already had the "close" discussion. You don't keep your job by being close, but if you look at the last several games, we're not really "close" to anything but the bottom of the league.
  12. I don't know that anyone's arguing that. The only real question is whether Rhule deserves to be fired or not. I think it's pretty clear he does.
  13. Coaches set the game plan, adjust the strategy, decide who plays and, in the case of Rhule, choose who's on the roster.
  14. If Rhule just had "issues" it'd be one thing. He's unqualified, not smart enough and frankly terrible.
  15. Yeah, coaches who don't win get fired. Whether they're well liked or not doesn't mean jack sh-t.
  16. "We're number 31" doesn't make that great a chant
  17. Dude, nobody gives a sh-t whether you or anybody else is happy or not. Taking this to mean anything serious or major though is delusional. The Saints were awful today, worse than us, so we get a win. If you think this team is going to look competent against actual good teams though, I'd say you're in for some large scale disappointment.
  18. They may still be better than us, but the Bucs are being made to look ordinary by the Packers.
