  1. Reynolds was always a hysterically funny guy in interviews, at awards shows, etc. He just had a natural sense of humor. He and Dom Deluise always had great chemistry together in their movies.
  2. Less than an hour away from Noon...that's when we start finding out who got claimed, who was awarded where, etc. Practice squad announcements should be coming later today too.
  3. My brother had one of those too. Wonder how many people remember this... "Comrade Duck, you have until morning to get your cotton picking trucks out of the USS of R...YOU WILL COPY!!!"
  4. Agreed, though this particular signing is likely more a case of "in Tabor we trust".
  5. I remember back when you used to see records advertised on late night TV. Another one from way back was "Telephone Man". I was too young to get what it was about but we laughed because my best friend's dad was an actual installer for the telephone company...of which there was only one at the time. (those days are long gone)
  6. In the 24 hour news cycle / social media world, yeah. FYI: He'll apparently have a chance to talk about it today...if he's so inclined. Don't know that I'd refer to it as a "situation" but ya know...
  7. Post Script: Apparently the Steelers were also interested in Daley... Guessing the Titans made a better offer
  8. Likely, but I don't think that can happen until Noon so this probably isn't official yet.
  9. Note: The media is a Steve Carell gif. No idea why it would have a "sensitive content" warning.
  10. How much actual effect this sort of thing would have on the game? Unknown. What Mayfield has done though is create a narrative and a context of sorts. Every reporter and analyst that talks about this game right up till it actually happens is likely to mention these comments and frame the game around them.
  11. Yep. Gruden had final say on everything and it's well known how big a control freak he is. Makes it hard to know how much to really blame Mayock for.
  12. On the flipside... I'd call this an accurate statement. Eagles OL Coach Jeff Stoutland is talked about as one of the best in the league.
  13. I do remember a while back there was a player who talked about it saying stuff like that was really only effective for maybe half of the first quarter He said "You're too busy thinking about your assignment, the game plan, what the coach told you, etc to be emotional about things like that for very long." Granted that me just be his opinion, but it makes sense.
  14. Yeah, basically they've already begun. The "winners" get announced after tomorrow's Noon deadline.
  15. Aaaaaand the expected response has arrived...
  16. I still think Tremble has potential. To be clear though, I wouldn't be against signing Howard. I'd just have low expectations.
  17. I get the curiosity, but he's legitimately kind of a bust. (not that Ian Thomas is anything special)
  18. Here's the thing... Rhule is bad at his primary job (coaching). He's been, by his own statements and those of others, heavily involved in the quarterback decisions (which to date have been terrible). His other talent evaluation task, choosing assistant coaches, has gone poorly. And, as mentioned, he has final say over everything. People genuinely have little to no reason to have positive feelings about him. Fitterer, though? There's been the way he ran the draft, getting trades for guys we didn't expect, the presence of Dan Morgan, hell just sounding like he actually has a clue when he talks...and other things as well. Believing that Fitterer and Morgan could be successful if divorced from Rhule is not exactly a difficult thing.
