Shopping him's kinda pointless when pretty much every team in the league knows he's not making the roster. Course, I wouldn't put huge money on him making anyone else's roster either.
-
He'll be an even longer project if they continue to not give him practice reps. (it has nothing to do with expectations)
-
Yeah...that's frighteningly stupid. Rivera used to pull dumb sh-t like that.
-
That moment will never be forgotten...
-
I'd feel better about the situation if I had more trust in the guy managing it
-
Kenny Pickett coming up....
-
In most cases though, you're talking about a throwaway guy, not someone you're trying to develop for the future.
-
Are you basing this on that three play sequence late in the second?
-
That number's kind of ironic...
-
Last time I recall seeing a punt go like that was that one time Randall Cunningham did it.
-
You can get away with sh-t like that when you're a contender.
-
I managed to do both.

As big a Rhule critic as I am, he probably is smarter to not coach like he's desperate, even though I agree he absolutely ought to be on the hot seat. -
Hey Linville, kiss my ass Better?
-
Watching Steelers-Seahawks...Rock Hill kid Mason Rudolph just threw a "holy sh-t" touchdown pass to camp hero George Pickens
-
That it was a dumb move because that'd prevent Corral from getting what are clearly much needed reps.
-
That was Greg Little'e specialty. If he didn't have somebody directly in his path or running right at him he didn't know what to do.
-
Does he? What if we get hit with injuries?
-
Yeah. When they showed them onscreen it looked like they were packed in a clown car.
-
Same. I knew I was forgetting something. Hence why it's only "first impressions"...
-
I don't really consider this a bad thread bump. We played against Howell today so it was natural to talk about him. Probably won't be talked about again anytime soon. Hell, people likely would have been pissed at a new thread just as much.

Generally speaking, a fourth quarterback is a camp body that you only have in camp to spread the load around so that the first few you're actually concentrating on don't get tired.

Ouch -
Situational awareness appears to have been vastly improved over previous play callers... Play design looked pretty good, definitely saw receivers that were schemed open... Not sure what the run/pass ratio was but it felt like it worked; did seem more run heavy in the red zone after the starters left the game... Don't recall us having to call a time out because a playcall came in late, though at one point I thought PJ Walker had to use one out of confusion... As always of course, there's only so much you can tell from a preseason game but again, these are only first impressions. For what it's worth, they're good.
