I wouldn't put money on him ever even watching Garoppolo play. His MO is to take up contrarian positions because he thinks it makes him look smarter than others. Given that his positions invariably tend to be wrong, it doesn't really work out that way. When debating, he'll look up a stat or an article that kinda sorta maybe in a way if you don't think about it too hard supports his position and then stick with that as if it were a final authority (even after it's debunked). He can't keep up with an actual debate so it's pretty much all he's got. It's equally obvious that he doesn't really understand football given his reliance on the things mentioned above. I get that he wants to be part of the conversation, and I'm pretty sure I know why. Normally wouldn't fault him for that, but the track he takes trying to act superior to others makes me lose sympathy for him.

Khan was a guy I always feared a little because he doesn't have as strong a personnel background as others. Guess we'll see how he does.

Ellis, Verge and others had Corral as our number one QB prior to the draft. I know there's narrative manipulation and all, but this is one I'm buying. Hell, they'd have to have been fortune tellers to see how this played out.

The Steelers will be picking from two internal candidates in Omar Khan and Brandon Hunt, as well as external candidates Ryan Cowden (Titans) Doug Whaley (former Bills GM) Andy Weidl (Eagles) and John Spytek (Buccaneers). Panthers Assistant GM Dan Morgan did not get a second interview. And with all due respect to Morgan's career goals, I'm good with that.

The article mentions Newton... The Panthers are open to signing quarterback Cam Newton, but he would not enter camp as the starter, and would have to agree to a smaller salary. There's still been no indication Newton wants to play for Matt Rhule again, and the team's conditions don't exactly sound "ideal" for him.

His wife posted a pic on social media that apparently showed a well known Washington state landmark in the background. Guess another clue will come if his next commercial shows him in a different stadium.

Breer did stay this... I don’t think the Browns are holding on to Baker Mayfield as a Deshaun Watson suspension insurance policy. And I think how they’ve operated is proof. My understanding is Cleveland’s already offered to take on a good chunk of his $18.858 million in guaranteed money for this fall to facilitate a trade. And a trade may have already happened if they were willing to take on more. Which is where this really does come down to value, plain and simple. (same MMQB article quoted in the other thread)
