  1. Some teams lose because their coach says dumb sh-t like that. (along with players saying stuff like "hey, sacks happen")
  2. Breer probably writes more about the Panthers than a lot of other national reporters do.
  3. Losing isn't enough to judge by in and of itself.. You have to understand why you're losing. If the reasons don't stem from quarterback play, then no, your first option should not be to replace the quarterback.
  4. Anyone wanna tell him that posts on this board don't affect what the team does? A thousand pro-Newton posts don't accomplish a thing.
  5. Knew a kid who went to one of those. His parents were doctors in New York. When one of them got hit with a malpractice suit and he ended up being moved to a tiny high School in West Virginia, let's just say he wasn't the happiest person.
  6. Back when he was in high school, Randy Moss put a kid in the hospital. He wasn't in a private school. It was at a small high school in West Virginia. It didn't exactly hurt his career.
  7. Never assume anything is obvious on this board.
  8. Here's the Twitter account I mentioned, talking about the scouting movement I mentioned... Anybody planning to take the agent exam?
  9. Well, prepping for updates at least Colbert stepping down is the only move that's official to date. Don't doubt there'll be other changes though (there always are).
  10. Well, at least he cited a source. That's different from his frequent MO of copying and pasting from a tweet but not posting the tweet so it looks like his own info. (that's usually referred to as plagiarism, but hey...)
  11. Apparently still true, and almost sounds as if it's not gonna take a huge return...
  12. Possible, but if the quarterback isn't part of the reason we're losing, I wouldn't necessarily look to replace him.
  13. The NFL doesn't have a "turn off salary cap" option.
  14. Don't know whether that was an option. He was there on the NFL's dime. Having the cameras on him may have been a condition.
  15. Almost... McAdoo didn't arrive in Jacksonville until 2020. Foles was with the Jaguars in 2019 but went to the Bears the following year.
  16. He went into draft day thinking he might be about to get a contract for over 27 million dollars. He's now more likely to get something around 5 million. Still potentially life changing, but a huge loss. Can't speak for Willis, but if I were going through that, the last thing I'd want is my face on national TV.
  17. One other possibility: Since his role has been scaled back, I'm kind of wondering if longtime Panthers scouting guy Jeff Morrow is going to retire. (or leave for Washington)
  18. I tend to flip back and forth a little, but mostly watched NFL Network this year. ESPN's draft coverage appeals to me a lot less since they put Mike Greenberg in charge of it.
  19. Basically the top guy when it comes to free agency (as opposed to college scouting).
