Just to add another layer here... I've seen reports that say Atlanta actually had him. They'd been informed that they were the choice as of this morning. Then Cleveland swooped in with an upgraded offer and, well
-
That'd be kind of uncomfortable given the situation with Baker Mayfield right now. However if you look at his Instagram post, you'll find he's been congratulated by several NFL players and former Clemson teammates.

REPORT: Armstead is between Chicago, Miami, and Carolina.

Repeating it here... Just a quick reminder to everybody that all these offensive line guys were acquiring are going to be coached by James Campen. That definitely gives me positive feelings. -

Has anyone ever calculated the speed of bullsh-t? I'd imagine it's gotta be pretty fast.

Or he might want Pickett...or Rhule might. I still don't want any quarterbacks in this draft but with all the free agent movement, the possibility definitely exists. -
Matt Ioannidis is signing with the Carolina Panthers, per source

So much going on this dropped to page two? -
Don't bother. It's bullsh-t.

Bozeman, Ioannidis, Hekker, a rumored safety, maybe Armstead too... I'm too old to keep up this pace, man. I need a nap -
Found it. Yeah, Hekker's a damn good punter.

I think the only thing wet is that guy's pants.

Rumor: Armstead deciding between Carolina, Chicago, Miami

This is a Panthers forum, right? Am I reading about the right team? -
To be fair, most were going by what Watson's people told them. I can tell you one guy who took it kinda hard though... Albright had confidently declared before any of the news came out that there was absolutely no way in hell Watson would go to Cleveland. Even said he'd give $1,000 to charity if he was wrong. I'd imagine he's getting roasted pretty badly right now.
-
Is he? I hadn't seen it. Granted there's a million other things going on.
-
Given the price that's being paid for him in both picks and salary, I'm fine with coming in 32nd.
-
I get the feeling after Watson steps on the field for his first game with the Browns, he'll be on here saying that we're still trying to work a trade for him behind the scenes
-
But wait...that's not official!
-
Kunkel's been pretty reliable.
-
Given that he didn't wave his no trade clause for us and he's not coming here, I think it's pretty safe to say we were ruled out.
-
Actually, the proper term is "bullsh-t"
-
Actually, Josina Anderson confirmed that we were ruled out the same time they were. It just wasn't reported at the time. And then they got ruled back in.
-
Good grief No argument there...
-
I check on the Falcons message boards first. Saint fans are probably angry, but I'd imagine Falcon fans or positively fuming.
-
Don't really think you can blame this on media or insiders seeing as Watson told them Cleveland was out. Guess he changed his mind.
-
This is not a drill...or a dream. Okay maybe it's a dream, but...
