Yeah, look at the one rep from Sunday when Mays got dog walked straight back by Lawrence. That is the poo that gets QB's rattled and flushed. This year those instances have been far rarer.
-
Yes. It literally happens all the time. Our own coaching staff has done this in multiple games this year. It's called incompetence.
-
They were not trying to lie down. If you want to see what that looks like, see the Philly mutiny that led to Doug Pederson's firing.
-
Eh.....that's still TBD. It is a HELL of a race for these top 10 picks though. Lots of these teams play each other over the last part of the season, so we will see some sorting of the order.
-
Likely just ends up being hallucinogenic.
-
I don't think he is as good as someone like Robert Saleh but he is a very capable DC. He has done what he can with some very, very talent deficient rosters here.
-
That would be weird since Ikey has allowed one sack all season. I think it's more he is getting a little more time and distance from his battering in 2023. That takes time to get over and continuing to get your brains bashed in makes it exponentially worse(see Carr, David). That said, he still makes the occasional insane decision from a clean pocket.
-
They are not really a "blow you out" team this year. It might be closer than we thinking while also being comfortably out of reach.
-
Not even Dan Snyder was that insane. I am sure Dave had to pitch a case to Tepper in his weekly meeting but I don't think it was a hard sell. I am not sure it will be a tough sell to bench Bryce again, either.

The guys that don't love it and aren't otherworldly talented, they don't last at all. The guys that don't love it and ARE otherworldly talented, a lot of them don't last that much longer. Make no mistake, the NFL is work. Hard work, at that. And if you are a fringe guy, there are hundreds of guys that are champing at the bit to take your job.
-
No. He cannot. Even a little.
-
Yeah, you have officially ODed. Very few of that front 7 are more than league average or rotational guys. That area needs a multi-year overhaul.
-
He has been slightly above average at LT and significantly less impactful than at C. That isn't worth the money you are talking. If he was actually worth that, we would have fielded lots of offers at the trade deadline.
-
We have XFL depth players. Very few NFL depth players.
-
They also need talent. Like....a lot of it.
-
That was my dude. Cannot believe we passed on him for a fuging RB.
-
Waldron is fuging awful and the Bears have no legit QB options outside Williams.
-
Tag is pure insanity. It will never happen.
-
He will not get even remotely in the ballpark of that. This is the classic Panthers fans overvaluing the home team guys. Most likely he will be very affordable as a starter or backup.
-
In the top 10 perhaps but I am not sure how much that makes sense unless the plan is to trade/cut Ikey or Moton. There is a possible future path for Ikey at OG or RT if need be but that would be a mighty big waste of top 10 draft capital, IMO. Ultimately, if the best OT tackle in the draft is available or is BPA, I am 100% for making that choice.
-
I would think he would be a very affordable re-signing. Also, this draft might be the one to finally draft a center.

Young vs WIlliams over the past three games
kungfoodude replied to cranky's topic in Carolina Panthers
Damn. Do you have a link to that interview? That is so wild. -
100%. If this is the point he is at developmentally this far into his career, he is likely better off spending more time on the bench and doing that slow development. His best path to success is a Geno Smith-like one.
-
The outfits, celebrations and all the other strange horseshit he did. IDGAF about any of that. Is the player a good football player? Is he effective for 60 minutes on a game day? The rest....whatever.

My bad. I meant 31st and 20th. Although we do get to face the 32nd ranked rush defense a few times every week.
