I guess we found Fitterer's sock account. -

Barkley is likely to be far cheaper than CMC was(TBD). -

Brother, if you can't understand how little any RB in the NFL(CMC included) is going to help us win, I can't make you see it. Gee, maybe the one winning season in five should have been a hint but I guess not.... -

Sure. Right. Just after almost 30+ years of overpaying RB's we should do that again. Wonderful idea. Thanks, Marty. -
I think he might just be too confident to a fault. Hero ball caught up with him a few times last year. Those windows are all tighter and those pockets collapse more quickly at the next level. This will all seem pointless if he ends up being the talent they claim but he wouldn't be the first QB that had similar faults/tendencies that flopped because of it. It all just depends on how he adjusts.

Official. Evgeny Kuznetsov to the hurricanes

Cap space and a draft pick. I'd rather have those if he is basically going to end up a healthy scratch for game after game. -

I just am not seeing what they are. I hope they are right but I fully expect to end up looking at this one and saying, "How the fug did we convince ourselves on this BS?" -
IDK. Maye played in an offense that isn't likely to help him transition quickly. Also, he basically fell apart in the latter half of both his seasons. That didn't inspire a lot of confidence for me. We will see. He is the most talented guy in the QB class but if it's my #1 overall pick....I'm honestly going Daniels. He seems to have more of an "it" factor. It's gonna be interesting. There are a few guys from outside that top three that could end up being the best, as well.

I will make a stand on this one, we will end up regretting this move. I do not see him fitting our style of play even remotely. -
I tend to agree. I think Williams and Maye are going to have much more difficult transitions to the NFL than most fans think. The one thing I will give Maye credit for is that he seems to be actively seeking out former NFL QB advice(or at least publicly). That SEEMS to signal he might be taking this a bit more serious of a challenge than Williams. TBD.

If he is the benchmark, Brown is probably in the 18-20ish range. I do think he will end up slightly higher than that.

Panthers re-sign major contributor

Never played an NFL game. -
Well, that's not how that always works with owners. Just ask our last one.

You guys really want some nightmare fuel? Guess who will be taking over operation of the team when Tepper croaks?

Mike Kaye: Panthers going after starting C

TBH, he is a below average NFL starting C. -
Would keeping Burns require another big D-line addition?
kungfoodude replied to Donald LaFell's topic in Carolina Panthers
He made life easy for Reddick. -
Maybe. You can never know this far out. I am fine with BPA, IDC the position. We need it all.
-
Yep. BPA all the way.

It will just be another FSU edge that lets us down. It's tradition. -

BPA. It is a weak edge/DE class so unlikely that will happen unless we are just lightspeed stupid(possible) -

We can make some stop gap acquisitions at a decent price but the long term plan needs to be draft better. We can get starting quality and rotational quality guys and we need both, doesn't matter if we keep Burns or not. Our focus needs to be building the team for the long term. That was the lie that Tepper and Rhule perpetuated but never actually attempted. -
I hated the contract, TBH. Same with Sanders.

Luvu / Burns…. Gross / Peppers Dejavu

Tackles is not a great stat for run defense. TFL is, however.
