    I rather, doubt it, TBH. I would think more likely that we are still less than 6 wins. But, the Texans with Young aren't likely to be a playoff team either. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. We are bad enough that all the rookie QB flaws would be amplified and also Stroud is clearly the better long term NFL prospect.

    Drafting OL should happen every single draft. That is something we should never stop trying to improve. If for no other reason than depth.

    Yeah, well keep in mind he would also have none of the massive advantages he has there. Tons of talent, a very capable front office and an entire organization that understands what building a success looks like. Tomlin(or most of these guys) probably don’t look as hot with the equivalent of a meth head playing with tinker toys in comparison to the Steelers situation.

    100%. We had easy the worst IOL in the NFL and in the running for worst IOL in franchise history. Bozeman was a part of that.

    Hopefully the 49ers poo the bed hard. I would love to see the Lions in the SB.

    Baker probably would have worked out here if we weren't such an insane dumpster fire.

    If that happens, I suspect it will be after a few more seasons of failing. If there is one thing I see plenty of, it's people refusing to change when they are as old as he is. I don’t have a lot of hope.

    Yeah, think about how much talent bolted from Cleveland or Cincy during their laughingstock years. That's how that can sometimes work.

    I am worried that our very small core group will have defections in free agency to have a chance at success elsewhere. Brown we can control to an extent with the tag but Luvu can simply just go elsewhere if he so chooses.

    I wish I could believe in that. Just not a great history of bad owners figuring poo out in professional sports. Not consistently, anyway. I also just don't think the environment for a HC/GM is going to be something most good candidates will want to put up with.

    I will make this prediction, our new GM will set a new bar for the organization. He will be worse than Scott Fitterer.

    It absolutely will. We have the worst ownership in the NFL. He hasn't learned a fuging thing.

    Cable was terrible. I pay way less for the services than I ever did for cable. That model is dead forever.

    It wasn't an accident that I compared us to that 1999-2017 Browns era. Tons of similarities. TBH, I forsee about the same thing happening. Around 20ish years of being the butt of a lot of league jokes.
