  1. Robby isn't the cause but he quite literally said they didn't need fans that boo. I mean, I am not out there booing(yet) but don't fuging tell the fans how to fan any more than the fans should tell the players how to play. fuging stay in your lane, Sideshow Rob. He pissed me off with that quip. I was one of the very few guys that defended him during last season while he was struggling but when you are stinking it up on the field, don't you fuging dare talk down to fans. Cam, Luke, TD, Sam Mills, Steve Smith, etc....those guys earned the right to be critical of the fans not Robby Anderson's dumb ass.
  2. I don't see how not playing for 6 years is not a serious downside. Unless he has been training and preparing like he was going to play that is going to matter. I don't see it as going through any trouble. He gets an all-expenses paid trip to basically work out for a team. That's the extent of it. I literally don't care even remotely about his views or protests. He is free to do whatever he wants, on the field and off the field. I care about his ability to play football and win games for us. So, even without the long layoff, he wasn't particularly good at that either. If he wants to sign a 1 year, veteran minimum deal, fine by me. He can't be that much worse than PJ Walker so you should at least improve your #2 QB. Outside of that scenario, why would you spend money on a mediocre QB that hasn't play ANY football in 6 years? That's about as dumb as trading picks for Sam Darnold.
  3. Eh....they also might not be a smart franchise too. There is that.
  4. It kind of amazes me that we wouldn't be interested in someone line Minshew just to upgrade our #2 QB(and yes I realize he would be a #1 with out current roster). That's actually somewhat as perplexing as the lack of ability to find a good #1 QB. Quality backup QB's should be easier to obtain, but we haven't put any effort into that at all.
  5. I doubt there is any serious interest in Minshew. We could have had him multiple times and didn't get him, so I suspect we just aren't interested.
  6. Again, we are talking about a guy that hasn't played football since 2016. Not to mention, I am pretty sure he is not willing to accept the type deal that most teams would pay, which is veteran minimum. I tend to believe he doesn't actually have any desire to play in the NFL anymore.
  7. Yeah, this feels inevitable. Let's just get whatever bad trade for Baker or Jimmy G done and start the process of getting rid of Rhule.
  8. I don't think Mayfield is overrated. Pretty sure the market has spoken enough that he is rated appropriately now that the Browns have been unable to move him.
  9. He was done wrong by the NFL, without any question but he is a 35 year old player that hasn't played football in 6 seasons. Also, he was at his very best an average NFL QB. At his worst, he was a backup quality player. And he mocked Cam, so he can suck my balls. And you aren't gonna get to see him play because everyone in the NFL is very aware of his inability to be an effective QB anymore.
  10. You are aware that Kaepernick only eclipsed 20 passing TD's once in his NFL career, right? Also only completed more than 60% of his passes two seasons? Kaepernick is WILDLY overrated by a lot of people.
  11. He isn't entertaining at all. The only amount of entertainment he provided was the "What's that bear doing?" And that wasn't intentional, it was just because he's kind of dense.
  12. It's so frustrating. This is quite literally the worst stretch of our entire season. What makes it worse is that April was by far the easiest month on the schedule. I cannot understand how we ended up this way.
  13. I really wish I knew what happened to us over the past 3 weeks.
  14. Trash. We are heading into the playoffs playing our worst hockey of the season.
  15. Robby.....you literally work in the entertainment industry, dumbass.
  16. I am fine with the idea of a 1 year rental, Baker or Jimmy G. However, it needs to be pretty fuging cheap. Otherwise it's just another huge and extremely obvious mistake.
  17. This just feels like a Panthers move. Trading for guy that was going to get cut and then bidding against yourself. It makes too much sense.
  18. It better be for next to nothing. If we trade significant resources for him, fire everyone. @LinvilleGorge may not even have to wait until the draft to be off the Fitterer train.
  19. We have enough that believe he is the truth. It's like the weird Gettle-cult. IMO, he is already on very thin ice. The 2021 draft was awful, the 2021 free agency was worse, the "win-now" trades have been borderline pointless. The 2022 free agency is mediocre looking, at best. If he screws up the 2022 draft, I am basically gonna be off the Fitterer train entirely.
  20. 1. The guy was far from a great NFL QB. 2. He has literally not played a snap since 2016. 3. I didn't forget him mocking Cam. He has been worked out enough. Everyone in the NFL is well aware that he is unlikely to be able to contribute in a meaningful way again. If he is fine taking a cheap(vet minimum), backup QB gig then sure. Outside of that....we are just being completely desperate. Jimmy G, Baker and probably the top 5 QB's in this draft are better options than Kaepernick.
  21. Yeah, I find it really weird that Fitt gets a pass. He is the guy that Tepper and Rhule chose. That can't be a good sign.
  22. Scott Fitterer, Carolina Panthers: Fitterer took over in January 2021, a year after coach Matt Rhule came aboard. So far, he's been part of a disastrous Sam Darnold trade, two underwhelming free agency periods and a draft that didn't bear immediate fruit. Passing on Justin Fields and Mac Jones looks worse a year later with the quarterback need even more pronounced.
