  1. Understand, you are talking out of your ass and also never actually worked at sports.
  2. Probably not until next offseason, provided another team doesn't get him first. At this rate, the smartest move he could probably make is to play this season a day ball out. If he does that and is relatively contrite about the situation, people will eventually be less pissed off. If he is available for our QB search next offseason, I wouldn't be surprised to see us involved.
  3. I don't generally agree that NFL players are overly compensated as a whole(individually, certainly). Like you said, it was a lifetime of hard work to get there, most of it without compensation. Congrats on your son's accomplishment. All his hard work certainly paid off, as well.
  4. Another Huddle pipedream player. Outliers are outliers for a reason.
  5. Agreed. If he really is an elite guard, that was a phenomenal pick.
  6. Give the Single Barrel Barrel Strength a shot.
  7. Hell yeah. We need some stat nerd backup in here.
  8. Haven't found one yet. Still looking.
  9. BT is a great every day bourbon. Sadly, it has gotten hard to get in NC. WT isn't quite in NC yet but it is in the surrounding states.
  10. Well we weren't terribly successful prior to Hurney, either. It's been multiple waves of poor management overall. We just have to hope we finally have the owner, front office and coaching staff to do it. We'll know in the next couple of seasons.
  11. Yeah, I definitely like some affordable bourbon but....I do also have a large collection of allocated and rare bourbon, as well. Lol. So, I am a little hypocritical in that regard.
  12. Makers does some consistently very good stuff that isn't as hype crazy as all the Buffalo Trace products. Available, affordable, delicious. Works for me.
  13. I don't know about that. The alternative I am talking about is this rebuild not working out for us. That alternative is vintage Bengals, Browns, etc. That is genuinely scary. I don't THINK we are trending that way, but remember that all those fans had hoped every offseason too. It's possible/likely we are gonna be looking at a fourth straight season without a winning record. That would be the second longest losing streak in franchise history. It would also result in only 7 of 28 seasons of existence without a winning record. I guess the question is, if we extend to much further down that road, how AREN'T we the Browns/Bengals/etc? That is why I was very nervous about this process from moment one. There is just as much upside as downside to what we decided to do.
  14. I am not sure I really have a go-to bourbon. Closest is probably Wilderness Trail. I really like their stuff.
  15. Yeah and although the process has been accelerated, it has still been rigorous. They aren't cooking these up in dirty bathtubs. It's unfortunate that people will have bad reactions to the vaccines and die. But without the vaccines, even more will die. I am sure the instances of ANY vaccine not having some cases of mortality or serious side effects are rare. But, ultimately, people can't live the way we are currently living in the long term. This isn't 12 Monkeys, it's a manageable risk for human beings(ESPECIALLY with some modicum of protection offered by these vaccines). It doesn't matter what end of the "Idiot Anti-Vaxxer/Anti-Masker" to "Mask Nazi/People Without Vaccines Should Be Jailed Jackass" scale you fall, we are ALL fuging tired of this poo. We ALL want to get back to a relatively normal life.
  16. Not many franchises get razed to the foundation quite like ours, especially in terms of the roster. I hope it works out. It has to. The alternative is pretty scary for we the fans.
  17. Any votes for thirsty comments about our players by Mick Mixon?
  18. Agreed. He can definitely get down to 330 or even lower. As a professional athlete, he is going to have access to more resources than he did at Alabama. If he doesn't have access through the team, he should definitely be looking at getting a nutritionist, as well. Keeping the weight down isn't magic, it just takes lifestyle changes and discipline.
