High: Brian Burns. With the additional secondary help and other pass rushers added, I think all those "almost" sacks from last season will be finished this season. Not sure: Donte Jackson. He seemed to improve last season and played well at times but was also plagued with injuries. The question is, where does he fit now with Horn and Bouye being added? And, can he play consistently and stay healthy? If not, I think this could be the beginning of the end. If he does, we could have the makings of a potentially top 10 group of CB's in the future. Bad: Sam Darnold. What needs to be said, really? Textbook bust QB that doesn't seem able to process the NFL game at a speed necessary to succeed. Hard to question the raw talent there but how many talented first round QB's have flamed out before him? He wasn't set up to succeed but he also just simply didn't perform well even when things were going reasonably well(by Jets standards). I believe there is a 20% or less chance he outproduces or outperforms what Teddy did last season.

I didn't have one of those very long. Would I? Well, how mad am I at the bank? -

Hard no, indeed. I have seen how worthless contracts are in reality, from both sides. -

I am starting to wonder if this is Tepper's personal assistant. The billionaire/franchise slurping is getting to be absurd. -

I predict a server crash if that happens. -

Yeah that whole, "He's basically a rookie!" narrative was utter nonsense. He is a four year NFL starter. Did he lose time to illness and injury? Sure, but that will be four offseasons, training camps, four years of film room, four years of development and training. If he didn't produce after this season, he isn't going to. -

Yeah, if he/they think that the pressure goes away with any NFL franchise, they are sorely mistaken. He has to produce and his leash will be WAY shorter than in NY where they were married to his future. We aren't. -
Well, most teams figured that out beforehand but.....you know.....

I would be shocked if they don't just roll with their current options. They appear to be fully committed to Darnold so I don't think they are going to plan for anything other than him starting. Which, in fairness, there are really not many good options available on the market at the moment. None that would be more than slightly better than Darnold, anyway.

I don't think you will see a journeyman QB because this staff doesn't seem enthusiastic about veteran NFL guys.

If he can't stay healthy, versatility is pretty useless.

There was one available before that, as well. Definitely not confident headed into OT. -

Jesus. Almost jinxed that. More high end chances allowed. Not seeing us be able to close this out. -

Ned has been shaky. A little surprised we didn't see Mrazek, TBH. -

Guys, please be more specific about your complaints. Each time I do we seem to remedy it. -

I am disappointed how sloppy we are playing. Definitely can't hang this on Ned. -

We will have to win road games to win a Stanley Cup. Losing to a vastly inferior opponent isn't a good start. Especially when you get dominated like we have in this game. The bulk of the quality scoring chances have been theirs and the physical play has been in their favor. We gotta circle the wagons here or this series might be pretty rough for us. -
