  1. Okay, so we don't know if those numbers are still accurate?
  2. I don’t think there is nearly the level of conspiracy about this as people are assuming. DC and his staff probably do think Bryce is their best chancs to win because, well....they have been winning and the results have worked out. Why tinker with it? I don't agree but I can see pretty valid reasons why most coaches wouldn't make a change unless they had to. As fans, our "had to" threshold is quite a bit lower.
  3. Twatter is the biggest sewer that humanity has created(yet). I wouldn't really read any comments there.
  4. I don't have PFF Premium anymore. Can you screen shot just him on the PFF table?
  5. Well he does seem to be tough and resilient. I got no issue with that. But.....you still have to play the game well to get credit for all that poo. That's just an aside. Sort of like Horn's early career. Who cares how good you are when you spend all your time on the bench? Hard to get a lot of accolades on IR. I will care about Bryce's resilience and toughness when he is slinging the rock around for win after win, being a primary reason we are winning. Until then my response will be......cool?
  6. Well he does only have one win over a team with an above .500 record in his career so far(10-7 Texans in 2023). So maybe it isn't too far fetched now that I look at the wins.
  7. So I looked into some of the data and here are some things I came up with using this specific article from the NFL: https://operations.nfl.com/gameday/analytics/stats-articles/what-we-learned-about-quarterback-push-sneaks-during-the-2022-nfl-season/ So, skipping all the math in determining the total amount of plays in that six year span and averaging it out on a per game basis for all 32 teams, it basically comes out to 6.8 "sneak" plays per season from 2017-2022. So, I also assumed since the basis of this article is on the rise of sneak plays in general over the time period that it has increased at a linear scale until this current season(2025). That would mean basically 9 sneak plays per season, per team. Using the figures from your article snippet regarding success rate(assuming it is current/accurate) of traditional running plays vs. sneak plays that it would result in a total of 1.6 less successful plays per season without the ability to run a QB sneak at all. I guess my question is, what 1.6 plays have you see each year Bryce that would have resulted in.....well...much of anything different?
  8. He should be a rotational/special teams guy.
  9. And you think non-Eagles teams are running QB sneaks how many times a season?
  10. I mean....are we now moving towards Bryce playing this game?? WTF
  11. Or 2nd round. As I said, BPA but if that player is a LB, fuging take one already. It's been too long. I would have love to have had Campbell or Schwesinger from this draft.
  12. 538(RIP and fug you Disney/ABC) did a great breakdown a few years ago about how statistically Eli was the greatest average NFL QB of all time.
  13. Yeah, it's been a comedy of errors there. Wallace is about the only real investment of note and that's been pretty underwhelming to date. I hope they get serious about it this offseason. There were some serious prospects that dropped into the 2nd and 3rd this past draft that are producing like gangbusters.
  14. I am glad it's annoying the officials too. Hopefully the traction this offseason is to ban that unwatchable rugby BS.
  15. I mean, I don't even know how to respond to that. You are making the biggest mountain out of the smallest molehill I think I have ever seen. How often do non-Eagles teams run a QB sneak on average per season? Probably 5-10 plays? So you truly believe those pittance of plays is what makes Superbowl champs? So....what happened with Cam then? Josh Allen?
  16. That is a very different and very unfair comparison for literally all 31 other teams. They have that stupid, unwatchable play they run to a ton of success that no other team can do at that level. fug them and that crap. Can't wait until the league bans it.
  17. Yeah but if you are talking about something like an extremely rarely used or needed play like a QB sneak, it's already a pretty off the rails argument. That doesn't factor in enough to W's and L's to be something that is particularly relevant. If you want to talk overall arm strength, field vision, footwork, consistency, athleticism, etc on Bryce, those are all valid critiques of his game and why he hasn't been successful. But the oddball obsessions about pretty meaningless aspects are a bit bizarre. QB sneaks? Not enough 40+ yard passes? Workout regimen?? Guys....there is ample stuff to criticize without this kind of nonsense.
  18. I doubt it's willingness. It's just not smart. Both from a player protection perspective and also.....Bryce isn't built for that. Not all QB's are. What advantage would he have that our RB's wouldn't? It's not reach. It's not build. We don't run a QB sneak with him on short yardage because....that's just fuging stupid.
  19. You think Fitzgerald will be but not Brees?? I gotta disagree. Especially since they really moved the goalposts on that position.
  20. That's probably a Z. Wilson, Darnold, etc. Guys that generally it became pretty obvious these weren't franchise QB's to build around. Which, that's pretty much Bryce Young as of today.
  21. Cam was very honest about that. He said he got caught up too much in the Superman persona and the feeling he had to carry the team. I bet if you asked him outside of a camera he would probably admit that he should have probably played the game with more focus on protecting the length of his career. With taking the hits and also protecting that arm with some of the really bad habits he had there.
  22. I would have to disagree simply because Bryce leans play extender so that has led to a lot more big hits when he is scrambling. And he has definitely taken some serious shots in his time here. Bigger shots that some said he could. As you say, he isn't going to play like Josh Allen or Cam(those are the real examples you are searching for). But he doesn't wilt like David Carr did, either. Overall, I am no longer worried about Bryce's durability. That seems just fine. I am very, VERY worried about his QB abilities. That's a real concern. That's way too much of a theoretical argument for me to lend a ton of creedence to. I am not here to critique a QB's workout regimen. Between they, the team trainers and their own personal trainers it should be something that is tailored to whomever. If that isn't happening, it just is what it is and they probably didn't dedicate themselves enough. Again, far from a worry for me with Bryce. His NFL QB ability is the sole concern for me.
