  1. Who the fug around here is a Darnold lover?!
  2. You guys remember when, like a month ago, that dumb ass motherfuger Terry Bradshaw said Sam Darnold could turn out to be the best QB in Panthers history? LOL!
  3. I was just thinking that poo a minute ago lol. We’ve got like 45 million dollars tied up in QBs this season lol.
  4. Hopefully we don’t even need Watson moving forward. It’s Ace Boogie SZN.
  5. Turns out Sam going out there looking like Jimmy Clausen led us right back to Cam Newton, just like Clausen originally did. The universe works in mysterious ways lol.
  6. Looks like if Cam comes in and plays well this year he could be our QB for the next 3 or 4 seasons.
  7. In what world is Cams physical ceiling lower than Darnolds? Have you been watching football this season? Cam actually looked really sharp in preseason and he was throwing darts of the Pats. Go back and watch the highlights. And we all know Can can still run with the best of them. You must be the only guy salty over this news. It’s kinda weird.
  8. Lol Cam was never elite?! fug outta here with that bullshit.
  9. Its painfully obvious to anybody even paying attention a little bit that this team is going NOWHERE until we get a bonafide franchise QB. Whatever route they take to do that, they need to hurry the fug up. We're going to end up wasting the primes of all of our standout players because the braintrust of this team cannot figure out how to get a decent QB. I dont care how they do it, either draft a guy, make a trade, or if one comes on the open market, sign them. But, we're going to be in purgatory until this happens. It doesn't matter what the rest of the team looks like. They tried to game the system by getting Sam, and that was an epic fail. They got too cute, too much hubris, and it jumped up and bit them right in their asses. Now, we as fans, are all paying for it, and will continue to pay for it until they figure it out. Clocks ticking, assholes.
  10. I think people forget how good or not good Jake actually was. Yeah, he was clutch as hell, and we had success with him, but its not like he ever lit up the scoreboard or the stat sheet. His career high for passing yards was 3886, and TDs was 29 - both coming in the same season. He threw a ton of picks relative to the number of passes he attempted and TDs he threw. Not saying hes not a Panthers legend, because he is, and I have nothing but fond memories of his time here (except for the infamous playoff game). BUT Cousins is objectively a better QB all around than Jake. Its just a fact. His career high in passing yards is 4917, and hes over 4000 just about every single year of his starting career. Also he throws way less INTs and way more TDs than Jake ever though about throwing, and hes usually right around 70% completion. The only thing Jake has over Kirk is the "clutch" factor.
  11. poo, I would take Cousins in a heartbeat. Dude is actually very good. He would immediately be the second best QB in Panthers history.
  12. Nah, it was not single handedly. He's had a lot of help...
  13. So, the histrionics in this thread aside, what likely happened is that he has a very minor, hairline fracture in his shoulder. It likely happened in the Falcons game, but was really minor, and Sam probably told the team that he was sore, but it was no big deal, so he could play. He didnt do much throwing at all during the week because he was in the protocol, so nobody really knew how bad it was, or how it was going to affect him. Then, in the 2nd Quarter of the Pats game, he takes a hit and realizes "Oh poo, something really is not right in my shoulder". Continues to play like poo, and then figures out he needs an MRI/X-Ray/whatever postgame. I REALLY do not think this is some conspiracy or ineptitude from Rhule and the coaches and doctors. Sam likely just did not tell them or even know, the full extent of the injury. I don't think we're talking about some major, displaced, compound fracture or anything. Also, as has been said previously, these guys will lie and tell the coaches and docs whatever they want to hear to get out there and play. They shoot these dudes up with all kinds of drugs pregame, so Sam was probably feeling like a million bucks to start. Just my humble opinion...
  14. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  15. Hire somebody to Tonya Harding his ass, and send him packing with an injury settlement? LOL. I kid........I think?
  16. Well I'm keeping my damn fingers crossed on that one! If they could somehow get out from under having Sam on the team next season that would be tremendous!
  17. Yeah, but I don't think that means we can just cut him. If we could, what would be the point of a "fully guaranteed contract"?
