  1. It really amounts to 2 firsts, as we will undoubtedly be spending our first rounder on a QB anyways.
  2. We are obviously looking for a QB with a very strong arm. One with the ability and the gumption to push the ball down the field and use our weapons to the fullest capabilities. Brady and Rhule obviously want a deep shot offense....and Teddy is anything but a deep shot QB.
  3. If it were possible to trade up for Lawrence I think we would be trying to do that, first and foremost.
  4. So that would then open the door to us resigning Samuel, no?
  5. Yeah but how many players do we have under contract? 10?
  6. CMC AND Robby AND 2 1sts? Oh HELLLLLLL no! I want Watson at ALMOST any means necessary, but thats a bridge too far. I guess we then resign Samuel to lessen the blow of that deal?
  7. A competent starter would have had 4500 yards and 35 TDs last year.
  8. I’d like to see the Saints say screw it and try and play while over the cap. What are they gonna do? Cancel their games? Make them forfeit?
  9. And Fitterer hasn’t even really made one move yet.
  10. And that’s with 22 mil in dead money. Sheesh. We’re going to be sitting SO pretty in the near future.
  11. Supposedly there are multiple teams out there that have Wilson rated higher than Lawrence!
  12. LOL AceBoogie is not a "source" of anything except bullshit.
  13. No way, as I've said previously, David Tepper is my Dad and I have never met you before.
  14. Well, you seemed to be having trouble with what the phrase "in on every deal" actually means - so I thought I would clear it up for you. You're welcome. Some people are so ungrateful....
  15. I believe that might be Verge's twitter....
  16. Well he has a no trade clause so if he does not want to be here, he won't be.
  17. I don't know? You don't think the league as a whole doesn't have billions sitting around in an account somewhere for a rainy day? Are NFL finances really that precarious, where they have one down year, and they cannot keep things afloat without drastically lowering the salary cap?
  18. They would still be on the hook for a ton of dead cap even if they trade him.
  19. They don't even have to do anything like that. Just keep the cap at the current level. Don't take it down 20-30 mil just for one year - only to have it go up by like 50 mil next year.
