I'm still focused. He didn't stiffle the maturation of any WR's, including this we drafted. He was the example of how to play the position and how to be disciplined in your work ethic to improve. I acknowledged his chip on his shoulder and will accept that chip with his game play every practice, every Monday and Thursday night and twice on Sunday's. Only kids that misquote someone words needs to grow up!

How many games would this good teammates have won without Steve Smith? Ice Up Son...

I am focused. He stayed true to who is, his entire career. He made players better with his game and them watching him practice. He wasn't paid to be a coach, he was paid to be a WR. He deter any WR on the team from being better, that's on them just like it was on him.

Did he have a chip on his shoulder, yes absolutely. He's also the best WR to wear a Carolina Panthers uniform.

If sawed off means: pushing players to be better, telling them to get in their playbook, to get up of the ground after a hit practice how you play and to play with a boulder on your shoulder, then yeah...

OMG, constant Prayers to him and the family...

This new era is refreshing to me. I remember when our undrafted signings were mostly the same guys for years. Either guys that didn't make the roster, made it at the end of a season but still qualified. The Carolina Panthers are truly building but we started far better than we were and we're ready to KEEP POUNDING!

But, don't come running to me if we start winning games and have a good season and all." What in the sam hill are you talking about? Where do I elude to undervaluing our players. This is the NFL, the best football players in the world and no all of them aren't on the same level. But good Coaching can coach them to be better in our system, ie. Josh Norman. Come crying to you when we start winning. This my team, I'm expecting us to start winning. This is the most excited I've been about a season since Cam Newton. But this ain't a one man show no more. The Carolina Panthers are looking for legitimacy...

I agree, but the players we have is who we have. We will have better, even or worse players than our opponents. Hopefully our coaching will win out. Coaching isn't just about coaching the game but relating to the players and getting to play above their potentials.

At the end of the day, it comes down to coaching...

An accurate QB hitting him in stride...I like it

Is the more accurate & defensive reading one, better at reading defense because he's had more time to read defenses before he throws an accurate pass to a wide open receiver...

I dint think we'll be bad off with either one off them. My pick is Stroud, because of his size. Young is a smart player and don't take straight up hits, nut a lot of time, he had plenty of time, which may not be the case now. And because of his height, he likes to have a deeper drop back and I don't think that's going to work well either. I think Stroud fits us better than Young but they're both very talented QB's. And AR, an extremely, physically gifted player, with a rocket arm. But we need touch and consistent migration down the field.

Are we talking about smaller players or smaller QB's playing behind a not the best in league, offensive line?
