Agreed. They have guys that have been there before and have proven they can get it done. We don't. Maybe we will, and I'm not saying we can't...but I know where I'd put my money.

It's not mathematically over but with so much evidence on the table I just don't believe in our ability to get it done in the last 3. The Bucs probably feel the same way, but I actually believe in their ability to show up when they absolutely have to, especially against us.

This might not be a big deal but it actually drives me nuts when we have our little Bobby Boucher "slap hands" moments going into the locker room. It feels fake as phuck. It feels like most of the leadership and corporate meetings I get on where people just spew slogans and absolute nonsense ad nauseum in the name of being positive. I don't know what's actually going on behind the scenes as far as instilling a culture goes, but the one we see publicly feels like a weak facade. Dave is like a youth pastor who sometimes calls great football plays.

Is it weird that I find the beating the seahawks route more viable? It shouldn't be, but I have more faith in that happening.

I'm just tired/drained after this game. I hate that I let this team ruin my Sunday again. I think I'm gonna golf next Sunday and just check the scores from time to time. I've never been mad when I just see that they lost...it's a different story when I watch.

I'm not X and O smart enough to pinpoint the problem. But, it FEELS like everything we do on offense is a titanic struggle. Then you flip it and watch dudes just catching lasers 15 yards down the middle of the field and they are the only dude on the screen? I just don't understand what I'm watching. I'm not joking when I say it feels like a miracle every time we score. Maybe that's just me being a Panther fan.

I hate our bend but don't break defense in 2 minute situations. BUT, we have held teams to under the league average of 23 points in all but 3 of our losses. Don't get me wrong, it want to VOMIT watching them chunk it down the field 15+ yards at a time late in the game. One thing I don't get is how the screen game gashes us all the time yet ours pretty much always suck balls

Good point. I'm just saying that I feel like this team is a legitimate contender about 1 out of every 10-12 years, on average. I'd love to make the playoffs, I'd love to make them consistently, but even that would get old...like the Buffalo Bills. They prob say the same chit we are saying after losing in the AFCCG for the 5th straight time. Ultimately, I just want to experience 1 championship in my lifetime I agree with the above poster. We have a lot of good players, but no real gamechanger. I don't think DB can hit his ceiling with these players in this scheme. Horn is good, but I've always felt he was a little overrated. No BS, Jalen Coker is the ONLY one on this team that has made the play literally EVERY single time the ball has gone his way, unless I'm missing something.

We're the same as most other teams by the end of the year...a disappointment. It's pretty amazing we've gone to 2 Superbowls. The sad fact is most other teams are in the same boat. We're never going to be the Packers and just be excellent every year. We have a chance about once a decade.

Yeah, it ended today. And we won a lot of what I would consider to be lucky games this year. I see us doing worse next year. We had no business beating GB and LA, if we played them 10 times, we'd win once, and it happened. We had a lot of the same games in '15 that all went our way...look what happened the year after.

There is no totem pole. We have to win the division or we're out. And I'm sorry but I just don't see us sweeping the Bucs, no way. Then losing to Miami and us beating Seattle is more realistic, in my opinion. I don't trust this team not to crap their pants when they know what the stakes are.

This is absolute CLASSIC "I hope we don't lose" Carolina football. I hope we make the playoffs, I really do, but I don't think I'm gonna watch the last few. Maybe I'll catch some on RedZone, but I can't watch every snap, this team is too frustrating. I'm actually embarrassed at how mad I get watching these idiots play football.
