He is an adequate starter. Unfortunately for him, he was a top 10 pick. A top 10 DT needs to dominate, not be adequate.

I get it. Nothing is a given. But another week of Cam getting comfortable and a defense that hopefully has their ass chewed out this week SHOULD equal a dub against Miami.

Cam kept the RPO and in some cases should not have. The defense started to key in on that later in the game. Not really fair to say CMC only had 10 carries.

Beating Miami would set us up for a .500 record going into the bye week. This gives Cam Newton another two additional weeks to get into the play book. Then we host Atlanta which should also be a win. I truly believe we can make a playoff push but it all hinges on beating Atlanta and getting some momentum going into December. Buffalo is probably a loss, but New Orleans and Tampa Bay both look beatable.

He will at minimum be in the discussion for starting LT next season and it is possible he becomes an adequate starter there for years to come. Thats about all you can ask for a 3rd rounder
