  1. https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/sam-darnold-break-down-carolina-panthers-2021-season Best article Ive seen yet in Darnold I think.
  2. Says some great things about Rhule and the Panthers.
  3. Go watch Black Christman (1974). It predates all slasher movies. You can tell how Halloween and Friday the 13th totally ripped it off. Good flick too.
  4. I dunno. I kinda respect the guy that says fug it lets essentially punt on 3rd down and GTF out of here.
  5. His worst moment will always be speaking out against Stem Cell Research in the early 2000's and his reason was "it would not even fix anything for ten years".
  6. The Panthers have their first away game of the season Thursday night at Houston Texans. Here is what I know: Texans QB Tyrod Taylor is getting an MRI done and likely won't start Thursday. 3rd round rookie Davis Mills will take his place. Imagine getting your first NFL start against this defense. The Texans have more rushing yards than the Panthers do. They also were not very bad at all passing the ball with Taylor at QB. The Texans defense isn't bad. They rank in the middle of the league on most categories except for forced fumbles (3). That puts them in the top 5 of the league. This is not a gimme game, folks. This Texans team even with Davis Mills starting is better than the Jets and we all remember that home game was too close for comfort.

  8. - 68.5% completion - 584 yards - 3 TDs - 1 INT - 66.2 QBR - 11.7 yards per catch - 7 bad throws - 100.5 passer rating - 74.1 PFF grade
  9. We have all seen this before. Young team on the rise, having fun, then the growing pains of being on other teams radar. Its a really fun journey.
  10. PFF OL Grades after Week 2 LT Cam Erving 61.7 LG Pat Elflein 50.6 C Matt Paradis 64.7 RG John Miller 65.3 RT Taylor Moton 77.1
  11. Erving stepped on his left foot making Brady fall backwards. It looked like he tripped on his own feet initially.
  12. Our best nickel. Will instantly improve the D
  13. The Carolina Panthers are now 2-0 after a convincing victory against the New Orleans Saints. For my money, here is who deserves a heaping of fame and shame as a result. FOR FAME I was ask skeptical as most when Matt Rhule chose Phil Snow to be his defensive coordinator. Man was I wrong. The Panthers held New Orleans to 128 yards, the fewest for New Orleans under Sean Payton. The Saints were only down one player from the previous week when they dropped 38 on Green Bay. Dominating them in this fashion does mean something and don't let anyone tell you it doesn't. I have been a Donte Jackson critic for a while. His inconsistent tackling drove me nuts. But now with his new Captain badge on his jersey, Donte is proving to be a very solid corner. Watching him aggressively pursue and tackle Kamara was probably the best thing I have ever seen him do. Well done, Donte. Tight end Dan Arnold had 55 receiving yards on three catches. This is huge yardage in the middle of the field that will now force opposing defenses to adjust. That, in turn, will open up things for DJ and Robby. Don't be shocked to see either of those guys have a huge night on Thursday. FOR SHAME Special Teams Coordinator Chase Blackburn is probably feeling a little heat on his back side this morning. Blackburn oversaw what was probably the worst Special Teams performance in a decade. If there is one thing Matt Rhule hates, it is self inflicted wounds. The Special Teams unit yesterday had enough of those to last an entire season. I have been biting at the but to see Brady Christensen in the lineup. Now I see why the Panthers are bringing him along slowly. While I do believe Christensen will develop into a great player, it is going to take some time for him to adjust to the pro game. Heck, even the reps yesterday should go a long way in getting him settled. Perhaps we will see Thursday how this progresses depending on injury news this week.
  14. The Panthers have started 2-0 seven previous times. They made the playoffs in six of those seven years (2002 was the exception).
  15. #Texans QB Tyrod Taylor will have an MRI on his hamstring injury and he’ll know more tomorrow. But Taylor won’t play Thursday night, source said. Davis Mills should get his first start on TNF.
  16. Phil Snow is our Monte Kiffin.
  17. 2-0 and a real chance to go 3-0 How's it feel?
  18. Hey, Jameis isn't the worst QB in the league. Just the worst veteran.
  19. Lol, Jameis is still garbage. It's great having him start in the division again.
