  1. I actually think coaching is becoming MORE important in the league. Because of all the offensive innovations recently, you're seeing coaches taking the same talent and doing so much more with them.
  2. And yet... He has only 26 carries this year compared to 54 for Sanders. I'm genuinely curious why he's not our lead back. Do we feel obligated to feed Sanders since we gave him so much money?
  3. He got hosed there. Vince Lombardi himself wouldn't win anything with Josh Rosen at quarterback.
  4. I don't think it has to be perfect, I think it needs to be at least one step up from "liquid diarrhea"
  5. Impossible to say. Wilks won 4 of our last 6 after being thrust into the fire as an interim. No way of knowing what a full offseason could’ve done.
  6. I actually think after what Wilks saw with Rosen in Arizona, he would’ve let Bryce sit a while. I could be wrong, but Wilks had experience with throwing a rookie to the wolves.
  7. Kept all our draft picks. Outside of the Saints game, the Wilks/Darnold team looked competitive down the stretch. A whole offseason to continue building could’ve resulted in something pretty decent. They sure as fug wouldn’t be as bad as this diarrhea explosion we’re watching now.
  8. You can’t blame Panther fans for selling their tickets when the product is this bad. Get your money back from Viking fans and watch this s-show at the house.
  9. Is there a particular reason we never run our athletic, elusive quarterback?
  10. 1. Trade Dalton to Jets to gain a few draft picks 2. Sign Perkins 3. ??? 4. Super Bowl
  11. https://x.com/profootballtalk/status/1706732922630258963?s=46&t=QkyLIdIdhhxcAgQYIWCHdg Stockpiling all the Bryces.
  12. From a **strictly football perspective** JR was about as good of an owner as you could hope for. Definitely could question his undying loyalty to Hurn Dog, but he delivered two NFC Championships, another trip to the NFCCG in our second year ever, and went to bat to draft Cam when people were saying he never would. From a football standpoint, going from JR to Tepper was like the majors to Single A.
  13. The Cardinals and Texans both have rosters at least as bad as ours, if not worse, and both came out with new coaching staffs and beat likely playoff teams today. It's hard not to lose some faith in the current staff from the way we've looked so far.
  14. "We'd win games if we stopped sucking" is definitely the vibe.
  15. Which is crazy. I hate myself for spending 3-4 hours watching this every week for free on TV. I can't imagine shelling out hundreds of dollars for tickets, parking, concessions, etc to watch it in person.
  16. For God knows what reason, tickets are still $90+ (including fees) on StubHub despite both teams being gutter water. That place is going to be half empty Sunday.
  17. At least we don’t have to hear about how unstoppable the Cowboys are anymore. Although the fact the tanking Cardinals are clearly better coached than us is a massive problem.
  18. Obviously no way to know, but curious what yall think… What would our record be right now had we kept Wilks and run it back with most of that same team? So bring Darnold back, still have DJ, use our original pick on another player, etc. Are we any better?
  19. Dalton: Everyone stay set, we’re changing the… Our line: LEEEEEEEROYYYYY
  20. I swear we’ve had like 5 games in our entire history where both sides were on the same page at the same time. Vintage Panthers.
  21. I don’t think there’s any shame to saying Dalton should play moving forward. Bryce has his WHOLE CAREER ahead of him, let him learn behind a solid vet and learn some of the tricks of the NFL. Patrick Mahomes said he learned so much behind Alex Smith, I don’t understand people wanting to drag Bryce.
  22. Icky needs to sit for a while, he’s thoroughly hurting us
