I would agree…Willis has some upside and I think he should go first of this group. After I get Willis I have a very steep learning curve and comp level to overcome. He will need at least a year maybe 2. Even then it might not show up. Again…I am staying away from all these dudes.

Corral is an interesting player. Good athleticism and good arm and battle tested. My knock with him is that he is pretty raw as a defense reader, and played in a very QB friendly system. Still in this QB class I can see an argument for him being something some day. Personally at this point I am passing on these QBs. Just not anything special with any of them that can be trusted.

Sadly him accepting this type of role would be insulting. He is a head coach in this league. I hate the way he has been treated. Sucks

The Hornets aren’t there yet but another offseason could change things, no need to reach unless it benefits us next 2-3 years PJ Washington is a good young big who can step out and shoot lights out. Another comment here the Senior Bowl is very scripted to showcase the players. Always has been. If Kenny Pickett does not go through the entire, I mean entire combine activities that would another huge flag for me. I can see him skipping out. The combine isn’t a huge deal overall but it does show competitive nature. None of the top players should be worried about what the combine brings to light.

I appreciate your optimism on Pickett…and we are desperate but man…feels like a serious band aid and reach to me. At 6 I would be very disappointed

I mean we don’t have Josh McDaniels as our OC and Belichick as our head coach. Mac Jones is extremely accurate and processes things incredibly fast. He is special there and I underestimated that. Pickett is not that player though. Even so Mac Jones with us last year would be considered a complete bust right now. Different world. I am totally not ready to king Mac Jones as the next great either. He is limited as a player in many ways.

I totally agree…we have to choose which area to address and in this draft it has to be OL. Especially at 6. No brainer to me. There are even non-OL position players worth more at 6 than any of the QBs. It is just a fact. A move down is extremely likely unless one of the elite OTs drop. If we can find a trade partner. QB may have to wait, you can’t find gold in a coal mine If Trevor Lawrence (a generational talent) struggled with a bad supporting cast how in the world is one of these guys going to take us anywhere?

I like evaluating prospects throughout the season. The draft is my favorite sport event period and has been since 20 some years ago. Second nature for me to look for players that could fit our needs all college football season. Part of the fun of watching teams I don’t support. Look if Kenny Pickett was a QB with upside and talent I would definitely be interested. Willis has upside…I can see the argument. Howell as has talent and did it for numerous years. Pickett is a bust every draft in every way. That scouts love him to me says a TON about the rest of this class and not so much Pickett. He is the least rotten egg at this point in time. No upside IMO. None
