Stroud is going #1. Thinking otherwise is ridiculous. If he doesn’t go #1 that means Young went #1 and he goes 2. It’s happening. I don’t buy Levis above either guy.

Yes, noticed that as well. Stroud is open with his faith and mentions it repeatedly in his interviews.

We have a great NFL coach that is extremely well respected and can lead the franchise. As of today I am already calling Chicago to see options to go to #1. I am going there for CJ Stroud. Before that Georgia game I would have targeted Young but Stroud opened my eyes in that game. Stroud’s efficiency over the last 2 seasons is remarkable and he has all the measurables and he is still improving. If we can secure him as our QB this team can be filled out very quickly and without question compete and win the NFC South next season. I would resign Darnold to a reasonable deal if possible as I think he is the perfect bridge with his own upside has still not completely been realized

One thing I am absolutely sure of is that Frank Reich knows he has to get his QB. He would still be with the Colts if he solved that problem after Luck suddenly retired. The entire Panthers brass has to know we have to solve this problem at any cost. If you are willing to mortgage the entire future for Deshaun Watson you really have to spend whatever and go get your guy. Go to #1. I personally like Young but if you are concerned at all with size just go get Stroud. If we just absolutely can’t move up then fine…move back build the team and prepare for the 2024 draft with the same intent. We are moving up to #1 if at all possible in one of these drafts. That’s my plan.

I can live with Frank Reich. Do want to move up for Stroud as well.

I am sure it has happened but does anyone have examples of interim NFL coaches that actually worked out? Feels like a rare occurrence.

Kiper mentioned on the NFL Draft podcast yesterday that he spoke to Bryce Young and he is hoping to get to 200 lbs by the combine. He questioned whether he could keep that weight on due to his frame and as you would expect has Levis and Young ahead of him. Kiper is big on ole school measureables.

If the Panthers sit tight at 9 the won’t get Young, Stroud or Levis. Wishful thinking otherwise

Shane Steichen is still n the playoffs. Panthers are not hiring anyone but rather waiting.

Both the 49ers and Rams were 3-3 at the time of the trade. CMC wanted to go to the 49ers.

If the draft produced some of these guys especially Stroud I would take that in a heartbeat. I think to get Stroud will probably cost us a bunch to move up

I got the sense with a few post games with him that he either wasn’t paying attention or didn’t care much. He wasn’t focused which is a concern. I mean I think we should just go big and go get #1. Take Young or Stroud. Stroud’s play against Georgia was an eye opener for me

AR15s inaccuracy really concerns me. I would personally do whatever I could to trade up. If no takers I am waiting on QB.

Archane has great straight line speed but fairly stiff hips. 1 cut runner IMO.

If you are thinking of wasting draft picks for Lance or Love just resign Darnold. He is way better than either of those bums. BTW: Trey Lance basically is Jordan Love. They are very similar in stature and athletically.

Eagles -1.5 which is basically a pick em Eagles looked better though and at home that will be a big advantage
