  1. Bryce has always played the middle of the field. That might be one of his stronger areas in reality. Issue I think most are talking about is he can’t play inside certain pockets/depths because of his size that others can. on that TD for example, look at the depth and distance he has from the defenders while scanning the field. Give Bryce those looks? He will make the right play. That’s basically a dream setup for him. my favorite throw today was the other you mentioned to Sanders. He climbed up the pocket and hit him. That one wasn’t an ideal setup. Think everything else he did was breaking out of the pocket today
  2. Yes, because Hubbard should walk after this year. You shouldn’t extend and pay them. Sanders should be gone too. so Brooks would be a 2nd year RB then and ready to be the dude
  3. 2 examples, both of which show poorly managed preseasons IMO
  4. He is an undrafted rookie. Plummer literally isn’t supposed be to leading a teams entire preseason rep session. Got to think the setup kills a lot of work
  5. XL should be repping with BY or Dalton….not a practice squad guy
  6. I mean, Bryce played the same part of the field he always plays…..but against backups. the one time he looked downfield he took a sack don’t think we have seen enough to say much
  7. First play was a short pass to TE Matthews I think on the sideline
  8. That what the broadcast talk was saying others in the thread made similar comments. I’d like him to have more reps going in. Once again, he trends on light side of reps. Old preseason starters basically got 3 full quarters going into a season.
  9. 8 total pass attempts in preseason. That’s still whack given we are talking Bryce Young
  10. lol, saying you want a second drive and more reps isn’t complaining about what they did. just want them to rep. everyone reps more than we do lol
  11. Have to have them. It’s what he does. A real defense is going to sit on Bryce Young’s passes regardless. Saw it last year. and he called it that drive. We just took the sack
  12. It’s still all Buffalo backups. The key to the Dave O is going downfield. I’d still like to see another rep with a shot. Bryce seems a little happy footed too. Reps would help with that. better players have played much longer against tougher preseason comp. nothing to be scared of
  13. Yeah, hope we see a second drive. Still need to see him being able to attack downfield in this O. Looked like the one real downfield call was the sack
  14. Against what should be all backups. they better be able to look decent with the setup
  15. Someone made a Panther thread, edited OP to college talk
  16. Let’s make a separated college and Panthers one
  17. Yep, year 5. And the only time he ever liked good was those 2 games as a freshman Clemson D was so awesome that game for UGA. Hoping for a repeat this year vs UGA on D and for Cade just not to suck. Bar is low lol
  18. DJU got one of the biggest pure arms in all of college football. Ashame he ain’t good enough to do anything with it
  19. As Matt Rhule probably would say, the ACC is college football!!!!
  20. a week? He was asked how he spent his offseason. It remains a bad answer. This is the over defending part. It’s not the end of the world nor does his quote actually paint an accurate picture. But that’s what the Panthers essentially painted to kick off this year. "Literally. Nothing," he replied with a laugh. "I was kind of away from football for the most part, just living every other aspect of my life. Just hanging out, being around family, being around friends, getting back to a routine that doesn't revolve as much around football. For me, it was still being able to just enjoy and work out, but the Xs and Os actual football part, kind of stepping away from it“ "Legit, it sounds boring, like I'm holding something out, but I'm not. But it's really like I watch YouTube, I watch TV, I watch Netflix, and every once in a while, I'll go someplace to maybe look at some clothes or something. There's nothing really cool that I'm just trying to hang onto. I'm definitely kind of a homebody. I'm an only child, so I'm used to being able to just chill on my own. That's how I decompress. So it's really just that."
  21. Cam was pretty unique though. The hate he got. Not really anything similar or after. Sanders would get a different slice of that hate pie I would think. It will be an interesting year to see what happens in Colorado. He feels too much like a creation of Deion Sanders for me. The whole Colorado thing seems more like a family reality show to create a new NFL star….with a guest star appearance by Travis Hunter. really feels like dad and that entire program have an over emphasis on the QB and his personal stat sheet (future). From scheme, to playcalling to the defense of his play.
  22. Yep, Colts, Bears and KC could get started too
