So what is the official QB rep split Sam and Baker alternate days between the 1s and 2s. What’s Corral get? That’s my worry on developing Corral. You got two meh QBs ahead of him that Rhule is probably going to treat like a battle of Brady/Peyton. think big picture roster would be better with Sam out. Baker needs all the 1 reps. Then Corral gets legit backup reps to grow

Players do out themselves though about how they pay attention to what folks say online. DJ clearly watching. He tried to play it off “that his brother watches”……yet DJ can pick them out in a crowd.

Matt Rhule + microphone + words = always bad I mean, it is his job to pick the QB. That’s one of his primary jobs. To pick the QB who gives the Panthers in the best chance to win. He is suppose to evaluate their play, intangibles, leadership, etc in a competition and then he picks a starting QB.

Wilks still was able to get a DC job in the NFL directly after being fired as a HC. Then he went to college. Ben McAdoo remains unique. And that was because he was trainwreck. Which is why he doesn’t compare to everyone else. It took a comparable trainwreck to himself to finally get a coordinator job after years of searching

Yes, unless you were really bad, finding a new comparable gig is relatively normal for coaches. that was brought up when discussing Ben McAdoo and the fact he couldn’t find a demoted gig even with bad teams.

Frank Okam had a presser the other week. He is the Raiders DL Coach. He looks to of moved on to a better job. Meyer took a job with the Steelers to be OL coach. He looks to of moved on to a better job Chase is assist ST coordinator with the Titans. He looks to of moved on to a better job. I didn’t realize they retained him after Tabor was hired. Everyone one of them is now employed at a better place. Lateral moves to better teams.

When you are on the hotseat….you will throw anything against the wall you can. That’s why Rhule pretends and has this being a competition. Because he likely will quickly go to musical chair QB rotation to save face and buy time. Gives him the “it’s totally the QB” angle.

Reports have also said Rhule won’t be unhappy when he leaves. It’s not all one sided in terms of rumorville. None suggest a happy and well run org. More an unhappy marriage with a typical public face IMO…which there really is no other way to handle it.

i mean clearly from a public perception standpoint the Carolina Panthers intentionally altered Matt Rhule’s availability and presence after his nightmare season. That alone tells you their has been a shift in how he is being viewed. They made him disappear and when he returned the GM was the lead publicly on all things. A deviation from his prior seasons. Plus there is the fact the HC that was booed out of BOA last year until Tepper brought Cam in….had his staff revamped with at least 3 guys that could take his job temporarily and all 3 be more qualified for the role than Rhule was day 1.

It might take years to build yourself into a Brady era Patriot dynasty. True. But it doesn’t take years and years to win in the NFL. League is designed so you don’t win 5 games every season.

Huddle would do a 100% better job than Tepper if in charge. We would get the #1 overall pick. Tepper gonna only swing like the #7 spot. Huddle getting a franchise QB. Tepper probably a RB. *clearly the huddle would be best on a one year contract only

for 230.5 mil, 160 guaranteed? I'd say he is questionable given the pay. He still doesn't have a .500 career record yet and folded pretty hard the one time he saw the postseason. I mean, he was the clear cut primary issue in that playoff game IMO. And outside of his a slightly better pass % his numbers are very Baker like as a passer

what tier QB is Kyler Murray though? I think that is a debatable question. I personally think he and Baker Mayfield aren't that far apart to date. I think Murray is talented. Not sure how good he really is.
