Preseason talks. People just don’t listen to how it talks. It’s not about wins and losses. preseason told us a lot when Dave told the world other people needed his playcalling reps….not him. Told us Dave is an idiot that doesn’t know where he or his team stand vs the league on that front. And to no surprise, our play-calling this season is horrific. It’s called exactly like we have a newb playcaller without a lot of experience that didn’t take things serious enough coming into this season. Preseason told us about Canales, XL, Bryce. All sorts of stuff. It’s not about scoreboards or wins. That stuff is meaningless.

Coming into this season you could tell it was off. Way way too much media fluff on XL. Dude already became a NFL personality without the play. And when he got booted in his one preseason game I thought that was the red flag….NFL is an above the shoulders game and it was over before the season started this year. people should revisit some of this preseason defenses of XL and Dave. It was all there IMO. The red flag was there on Dave not taking playcalling serious like a bad playcaller needed. XL’s head wasn’t in the game. And the team knew Bryce couldn’t handle much. Preseason been doing crazy talking ever since Rhule’s year 2. It’s not always talking loudly but some years it screams at you

Yeah, I mean in a world where Bryce Young is starting for a 4th season….. why does XL not get more time lol. XL’s family is going to start making accounts and talking about his 4th quarter production! He gets going late when it matters! Ball placement and off target throws are the real culprit!

He needs a punt returner to work a screen/dump game for him. That ain’t Horn. He needs some physical quick runner. and Bryce and Canales need an offseason to figure out how to setup and work a good screen game.

I mean, I think the Panthers can find a win in a football game. I already called this weekend. In this really quirky NFL world, I would hate to go to Carolina and play the first game. That’s the perfect setup for the NFL to do NFL things. Plus all the pressure is on the road team vs a “bad” team.

Same position we have been in. Carolina has to find a way to make massive strides on offense. the biggest way to make real strides in that area are generally found in either QB play or playcallling (or both). Change has to be made there.

NFL already won. It played out the most ideal way possible. Now we will all watch the Falcons game today. Just like all the Bucs fans will. And all the media that didn’t have to care about that game has to care. I told my kid going into the weekend he didn’t need to bother watching anything. Tampa was going to beat us and Atlanta would send us to the playoffs at 8-9. There does always seem to be predictable nature to a lot do things. payoff to all that is….for all the sports is rigged fans…you really wouldn’t want to be a fan of a team that had to play a poo 8-9 team at their home in the playoffs because then the perfect NFL “script”…..is to have your poo NFL team upset one team to open the playoffs. Thats how you make things interesting. Then we would get absolutely wrecked after that.

lol, it wasn’t a “you will get banned threat” nor did I ban him. But in fairness, I could see how it could be interpreted that way not knowing who does things. I didn’t ban him. Oh, poo. Rico trying to not take a loss to lose his money would make a lot of sense given the yardage and time left. Nothing makes sense about it being a flea flicker. Location, routes, weather, etc. and if true, well that makes me dislike Dave BS post game more and more. You got to call your player out. I’m as big of a Bryce hater as anyone here. It’s not just Bryce. And I really can’t think of a fellow hater that believes it’s just him. but Bryce in no way at this stage projects to be a great QB in time. He is low ceiling and inconsistent. 2 biggest game changers a team can find are a great coach or QB….so it is what it is. He occupies a role that if filled with a better player has a lot of impact

Sure but plenty of NFL games go down where balance and ideals go out the window. Thats just football sometimes. You can find lots of examples of where teams have had virtually no run game in certain weeks and it got clamped ….We also couldn’t convert a single 3rd down. Thats got something to do with TOP too. We all know this pass game isn’t good enough and it starts with Bryce and Dave being the two biggest key for why. If we want to not be bottom 3rd in 2026….the answer probably has less to do with finding another WR than it does Bryce
