  1. NFL is slam full of bias and idiots….who pretend things are super complicated. Like everywhere else. They generally aren’t complicated. Bad decisions get made because of ego and idiots. Bryce Young didn’t fit Frank and didn’t fit Dave. It’s not rocket science. It’s legos. why didn’t Baker work here? Well, he wasn’t allowed to be Baker and he was never given the team to be Baker. Sam IMO was largely Sam and given the opportunity to be it. DJ Moore just isn’t the last 2 WRs Sam has been paired with
  2. I think this is Twitter fan talk. Contract keeps Trevor there. I think BTJ has been the real let down in that O this year. More so than Trevor.
  3. BTJ has played bad this year though. Leads NFL in drops as well. Trevor’s played better than his stats show. But he has always been scatter brained since Clemson
  4. I still don’t get the Dan Morgan mental gymnastics and how folks have invented this world where Morgan quietly raged against all Fitterer’s decisions with no evidence. I think odds are Bryce present day is here because of Morgan more so than Tepper. Tepper is horrible at hiring but Tepper isn’t the type to get stuck on ideas or people or afraid to admit mistakes (his is the opposite).
  5. Trevor is basically a lab created perfect QB physically…,,but with a PJ Walker operating system controlling it
  6. Baker Mayfield, Darnold, Danny Dimes, Mack. Geno isn’t a unicorn. Putting people in places and scheme where they fit is 50% of the puzzle. Too many teams make things painfully hard. Like us, we spent all that a a QB that never was going to fit Frank or Dave. And we are still here. Just wasting time. It’s like running Darren Sproles like Jerome Bettis and being confused why the results are bad
  7. We don’t need to draft a QB if Canales stays. We don’t need to keep the inheriting other people’s decision thing going. Canales would have to earn the right with a vet to stick around. Otherwise, you most likely are letting Canales draft a QB you think force on the next staff. Thats not how it should work. See us now. All the hiring and firing we do, we never clean house properly. you anever know when a class is actually going to be good or not. The Trevor/Fields class was supposed to be an awesome time to draft a QB at this point
  8. Got to think multiple guys calling it out….likely are calling out a legit issue as a means to yield results. Legit problem mindsets in house. It’s also odd it’s not the “leaders” in Carolina calling this poo out
  9. Who is on the leadership council?
  10. Dalton thumb been busted up for years. We can start him but it just leads back to Bryce. That’s the scam. insane we don’t have a youngster on the PS
  11. Almost every sideline vertical ball he throws turns into some whack jump ball fade. He never really gives anyone a chance to go get it….even when they have their guy beat. And we have seen them have a step. Everything is a jump ball basically taking them out of bounds or the back of the endzone. and when asked to not go sideline he normally just holds it and kills the call…..
  12. Our GM, just like last year, has made not going with Bryce a nearly impossible feat. only option is a washed Dalton with a hurt throwing hand thumb
  13. Yeah, you got multiple Panthers now saying it.
  14. I do not believe this is true at all. Bryce scrambling means no proper base. Means his weak arm is at it's weakest. Which means downfield throws are even more risky for him. as the OP says, you can see the deep calls. Bryce normally has time. Holds. Scrambles or checks down. The balls Bryce Young will throw downfield are generally when the call has something on the sideline. And Bryce makes these throws super hard on WRs. They generally are turned into jump balls 90% of the time when that's not what the throw asks for. I think the only deep ball he is comfortable attempting is when he can borderline push the ball out of bounds if the WR doesn't' get it.
  15. Bryce has to finish out this season. Every game. It's the only way I believe Dan Morgan will move on from his dude. Leave no doubt or room for him to keep hanging on to his and Fitterer's guy.
  16. I mean the Colts owner is literally in a headset on the field w/ a notepad lol. I still think the bulk of the bad decisions are squarely made by the bad people he hires. Not him telling them what to do. I think the GM team sold Tepper on Bryce. By all reports it is was split decision in house. Tepper agreed w/ that side of the house. Not an order by a king. Reporters largely sniff it all out and it's not how they reported it. And I think we know team Frank was anti- Bryce and pro CJ. They lost.
  17. on a good day he is a game manager. But he has more bad days than good days.
  18. Andy Dalton is just collecting checks because people are dumb enough write them. Dude is on his 5th team at this stage. He hasn't posted a winning record in any season of the last DECADE....and has been called into action every season of the last decade.
  19. Panthers in a weird space. Front office has to be very careful not to expose how poorly they went into this season by choice.
  20. we must give up 48 picks and DJ Moore for Bryce.....the bright side is Bryce will save us from having to spend and invest a lot into the O and it can all be put into the rest of the team. Panthers proceed to spend all their picks on drafting skill talent to make Bryce not look bad and have to go out and spent more money on the OL than anyone else in the NFL LOL. Total con job by Fitterer.
  21. Clausen had a weak arm and slow delivery. Bryce is Clausen with a faster delivery and better pocket movement/scamper ability.
  22. I'm sure OP was alluding to Saunders but I like Evans better. Less than half the targets. Same first downs. More TDs. Better average per catch.
  23. when you factor in cost.....if things ended this year? Cost is going to 100% put him in the top 5 all time convo.
  24. Bryce has never been able to throw deep in the NFL. He is bad at it. Every season. You can find a clip of Tom Brady rushing for 20 yards. Doesn't mean he is good at it. Bryce was always a small ball point G. We cheered it when we drafted him. He doesn't fit a Jake Delhomme fug it deep ball offense. Which has always been the Canales tree and every QB he earned this job off of (Wilson, Geno and Baker).
