  1. heck, I'm tempted to drop my 6 down to 5. Canales already talking about how doesn't want to give Hubbard too much work early this year. Dude, look at your schedule. You should be all in on winning early. Which is why you should of been running a heavy preseason.
  2. I'm cool w/ the Texans and Ravens calls added to my list. It basically all follows Vegas' outlook.
  3. my favorite is Renfrow isn't healthy enough to even be on the active roster over David Moore to.......Renfrow is obviously our starting slot WR. Panthers panthering
  4. I think the 3 easiest division winners to call are the Bills, Eagles, and Bucs.
  5. biggest concern for me in terms of record, the first 5 game slate is where the Panthers need to be picking up decent % of their total wins. and I think the Panthers appear to be limping into the season. Past 2 years, that was has been talked about and it panned out as such. Nothing says the Panthers are coming in hot....which they really need to IMO.
  6. I mean, it would take injuries to knock Tampa down to being on par with us.
  7. NFL is weird....a team can win 4 games or 7 games and it really just come down to lucky breaks or unlucky breaks. This team really feels like a 6ish wins type team. They could win more or less. The division is bad. So, I expect bad a lot of games featuring bad football teams and that can result in wins. 6ish wins sounds about right.
  8. well, going back and looking, Canales went 0-2 starting off games w/ big boy passes w/ Bryce Young last year to open up games. So my nickel is on a Chubba run or a short pass to Tmac.
  9. Yeah, I think Icky basically has to be out. Sunday seems on the super early side and he plays LT (which is like 50 small car crashes a Sunday)
  10. I can’t help that you ignore and omit things and therefore think the convo is just about talking heads. It’s like you referencing a 2024 stat and and your assumption/projection something similar is to be expected……and ignoring there key offensive starters battled injury all year (which is going to lower an offenses production and efficiency). Can’t help you ignore Cohen was just a flat out better OC in Tampa a year after Canales. Like not even close…so far from one another that trying to explain it away to his passing coordinator doesn’t fly
  11. conjecture, huh. Not like you....who is making an argument off of a singular stat
  12. vs the rest of the league, the Bucs have been good on 3rd down the past 2 seasons. It's a relevant fact given the talk was about 3rd down play. I'm not pumping up the Jags. If you are going to talk about what any team did last year and using that to allude what to expect week 1....the details become relevant. A completely healthy team paired w/ Cohen, I think most out there are assuming more firepower to their O than the 2024 stat you referenced suggests. I can't imagine being so sensitive about the Panthers... where you basically can't talk football if our bad team is also going to be mentioned. I think most out their project in the land of bad football teams, we are the slightly worse bad team. Acknowledging football realties isn't hyping or hating. Jags got a better D on paper. Jags got a paper O on paper. Not a huge gap but edge goes to them.
  13. for cheap RBs this week I like Etienne, Dobbins for cheap WRs I like Egbuka, Pearsall, Golden I'm generally in search of cheap options to round off my obvious/favorites for the bigger entries.
  14. hmmm....think OP is wanting good plays for this week in daily, not sleeper picks for a real fantasy team
  15. Charlotte FC actually overachieving right now. Challenging the MLS all time win streak (and given their losses via injury or trade shouldn't be doing such at this moment). Playoff bound again it seems (back to back appearances and they just birthed the team essentially). which is bad news for the Panthers, as Tepper's choatic approach is yielding success w/ one team
  16. yeah, at this point, that says a lot about Caleb. They got the genius HC now. Absurd skill talent around the QB. I think the beefed up the OL. That should be a powerful offense at the least.....in theory. But I never liked Caleb. Never thought he had the mental makeup to be a NFL QB.
  17. Not starting a new thread with it.... but here are NFL execs ranking the NFC teams https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6592419/2025/09/03/nfc-rankings-eagles-packers-cowboys-lions-executives/
  18. the Bucs have been strong on 3rd down the last 2 seasons. So, signs point that it might not be exclusively tied to either of the coaches....and more to do to with the constant (the players/Baker). But overall, the Bucs offense was better under Cohen than Canales. Trevor was hurt last year, Etienne was hurt last. Trevor been banged up the last 2 years. I don't think the Jags O is "good" but it has the potential to be a lot more explosive than ours IMO. Trevor got that dumb/aggressive tendency to his play style (double edged sword).
  19. 3-4 is great pending you got the NT and OLBs. Meanwhile, we got none of what makes it work
  20. These aren’t done by the coaches. It’s the marketing department. We go through this every year. Title of the thread is misleading
  21. in daily fantasy, I think a mix Hubbard, Travis Etienne, and Bigsby are solid entries
  22. Think this has good odds of being a nice defensive front draft coming up
  23. fun facts Most points ever given up by a Bill Belichick coached team. also, since no one bit on my trivia question…..Ronnie “Sunshine” Bass from Remember the Titans was the last Gamecock QB to win a game in Atlanta before Sellars
  24. 89 seemed to throw a little shade at Canales and the preseason. Saying it’s not a good number, 2 catches, for TMac or XL this preseason
