  1. so....still the possibility that nothing really has changed much? I mean, he is just being Fitterery if you choose to look at it that way.
  2. I assume this was always just a straight ISM/Moore swap. I'd rather have ISM on punts.
  3. Still wish we would have taken KJ Henry.... looks like the Bengals took him. Clemson dudes seem to be a steady mix in over there of late.
  4. Tier 1 -Luke, TD, Mills Tier 2- Morgan, Beason Tier 3 - Shaq, Anderson, Spoon, Lathon *didn't include Greene as he only played 4-3 LB one year. But he was awesome every year that year like the rest. I consider him more an edge player and belongs on that one.
  5. debated between 6th-10th best LB in the Panthers history.
  6. might not even be a true 7 players. It's weighted. So I think if I was Taylor Moton or someone voted Bryce as the most underrated he automatically is now at 3 points/votes. So basically 3 people could get him 7 votes if I understand it right
  7. yeah, Lenny is basically in my brain saying it all nicer and better. Totally agree with his takes. Both the cons and what it would take for Bryce to be successful......which is a Bryce offense. and I still think the 2 most important things you could do for Bryce Young are a good slot WR and a good rec RB. Because I do feel you should spread the field out with Young in the gun. Give him lots of options. And a good slot WR and good rec RB would be vital parts in that small ball decision making game. And we enter year 2.....without good options at those 2 key spots (I get Brooks is an investment into maybe having that but that doesn't help Bryce today. And I don't care about ATs hands and knowledge. He is just too slow for a QB that needs to play quick. We got to get him out of dominant reps.
  8. with smart phones, I think the case > phone I'm an iphone guy and it's hit the concrete probably 9,000,000 times. Never shattered because of the Otterbox case. I generally go with the bulkier ones just because of how rough I am with the phone.
  9. you take the Baker/Tampa info, you compare it to the Geno/Seattle info and you compare it to the Wilson/Seattle info......and the ball consistently goes deep. Often tops of the league. The pairing has never made sense. And I really think they should of brought in an arm not named Andy Dalton given the mismatch on face value. If you were intentionally going to pair up a bad combo....bring in a young guy that fits to also be developing. The big picture vision continues to be lacking in Carolina IMO. and Canales could be a GREAT rah rah guy. That alone doesn't make a square peg go into a round hole.
  10. The narrative on Bryce is about as consistent as narrative’s get present day. Physical limitations. Which forces him into specific areas of the field and throws….which Ds become aware of pretty quick. No change once it became the narrative
  11. The bad marriage has been my soapbox. Face value it doesn’t really make a lot of sense….but maybe Canales is young enough and his OC is to not get stuck in all they have ever been around concern is XL is a signal he wants to do what he always has been about….that’s XL
  12. Washington fans don’t seem happy and confused over it. Gotta think there is something else to it to move on from him
  13. PJ Walker, the only winning QB of the Tepper era
  14. Well, Buckner was several years. But outside of that… Most recent was Ray Ray McCloud. Horrible here but I think okay with maybe Pitt right now??! Rod Gardner was a one year guy. He come from Washington but if memory serves it didn’t go well can’t really think of anyone else
  15. no Clemson player streak would still be unbroken. It’s drafted. We have acquired one before
  16. KJ Henry is too young and talented to of been cut. That's dumb. Was a big time locker room/leader guy at Clemson. Textbook stuff there. He will be a popular add by teams.
  17. What a minute. KJ Henry already been cut? Something must be going on there.
  18. Gore had a pretty good preseason. Issue was he was in Buffalo and they spent a draft pick on a RB this year. No way for Gore to really make the roster over the drafted rookie pending something crazy. I think his stock probably has climbed post Buffalo picking him up
  19. and is Tremble still hurt? That means all it takes is 1 tweak and you can't run 2 TE sets.
  20. Time to go, but he is flat out a better WR than the last couple guys we kept IMO. I think they should of kept Matthews and cut one of the other WRs.
  21. Panthers knew it when they drafted him. Return to field time was talked about at length when we drafted him. People didn't want to here the numbers. He would be different.
  22. yep, I don't think you should extend really any RB. Maybe a rare exception here or there. Just draft them mid to late every year and build your committee like that.
  23. It's a contract year for Hubbard. He ran well last year. He likely gets the majority this year. We would be too likely to overpay to keep him. We should just steadily draft RBs in the draft. And people are defaulting Brooks into a #1 featured RB. Which you can't. Lot of sure fire RBs haven't panned out.
