Frank to me was an offensive variant of Fox and Rivera. Frank being as bad as he was, wasn't because of Frank. It was a front office who didn't give him the basic blocks he needed to be the boring middle of the pack coach he was. when Frank's folks started going on TV and lobbying for what a Frank QB was going into the draft......that was the first warning flag. One day, years from now, like with all dysfunctional teams we will find out who actually stood on what side of the Bryce decisions before the company line of we "all agreed on Bryce" came out.

I think if the Panthers signed Baker and just let Baker be our QB....things would have worked out better than than it did. We signed Baker, then didn't let him be our QB. He "competed" all preseason w/ Sam. He never got the work he needed going in. It was never his team.

PJ Walker could walk in that door tomorrow and we would be a more threatening team w/ a higher ceiling. I mean, we would still be a bad team but we would have a puncher's chance vs a lot of teams now w/ a dude like Tmac. How we handled the QB room has been malpractice for basically the entire Tepper era of various different flavors.

RG3 at least gave Washington a season of hope and joy. As a rookie he posted a winning season, OROY and the postseason. So they got at least a year of something really nice. Then the pain came.

Brock Purdy erases the gigantic Trey Lance in a way it probably shouldn't. Talk about a horseshoe up that front office's backside. 3 first round picks and a 3rd I think is what Trey Lance cost. but credit them as well for not getting bogged down in their mistake and sticking with it.

Down 24 in the second half and opposing team letting your check down for 14 play drives……is garbage time. It’s free yards in exchange for clock. now the garbage time strategy did allow the Panthers to get back in the game coupled with Cardinals offensive errors and miracle Panthers onside kick…..and then it wasn’t garbage time. And then Bryce literally didn’t gain a yard.

Tepper can’t even handle a sign outside a random restaurant, or a random opposing fan at an away game…….. I think it’s safe to say Tepper cares what others think.

Sure, but he went 0-6 and moved the ball not one yard when in position to win the game. He was bad when it was a game. When it want a game, he piled up check downs to Tommy Tremble.

I’ll be honest, sign me up for the present day version of Fox/Ron. I’ll take playoffs every other season-ish over what we are. Panthers haven’t been fun since then

Jim Caldwell was a decision maker in Morgan and Canales happening. It’s like we suddenly forgot all the Game of Thrones reporting and the fact a massive % of the Frank era never left the building.

Hunter cut was 100% about David Moore getting a spot. No one was going to snatch up Moore. Then AT bailed. Canales’ little lie has been exposed. He cut Hunter because he wasn’t in shape somehow out of leftfield …..yet Hunter automatically out there carrying a huge load the minute Theilen burned them. It was never about the best player making the roster. Canales wanted Moore to have the spot.

And our senior citizen O and D advisors? Canales was just overly impressed with the Game of Thrones poo show he just had to have them too? nothing has ever smelled right about the transition. It really just feels like the Frank era to the Dave era was largely a glorified OC change and little else

People tell lies in front of a microphone. Especially coaches, front office folks and players. so it’s a coincidence Dave also wanted Evero? And Dave also wanted Dom Capers with him? and Caldwell sniffing around the O….again? That’s a HUGE coincidence

Do they in Carolina? I don’t think Frank nor Dave had complete say in their staffs. or…is it just a coincidence dinosaur Frank and young Canales both wanted Evero. And they both wanted the same senior citizen advisors, etc. I still want to know why all the Frank era people are still here and why the fug did they get to advise who things played out after Frank and still here.

Intended gameplan? I do think it’s safe to say they want the ball to go him. He was clearly the primary on some of those last possession throws

that booing home ground has proven to get folks at BoA in the Tepper era tinkering around. Everyone isn’t a diehard crazy. Tepper still needs casuals in their seats enjoying a good time as well. He also doesn’t like folks talking about the booing crowd around the nation. Or even in his backyard. Tepper is definitely aware of his things are viewed. plus, unless you plan to get rid of everyone….you sort of have to mitigate how bad it gets. Tinkering and change is at least trying in Tepper’s eyes IMO. It’s why there is so much constant change with both his pro teams.

He plays small. I mean there is nothing bad XL does. He just doesn’t get open and isn’t a 50/50 guy…so it’s all just bad or contested passes. I think if you give TMac the same routes it plays out slightly different because of how he handles the routes

Schedule matters. Home crowd. Let’s hypothetically say Bryce remains the same as the last 2 weeks (garbage time excluded) after Atlanta we go back on the road. So I really don’t see the org benching him when they head back out and vs a weaker team again. after that I think is the real window. Panthers comeback home and if they lose to Miami? The crowd could get really worked up and they got Dallas coming into BOA the next week That Dallas game is the one I think they would be really worried about the optics. If Bryce is still relatively bad and they lose to Miami I think he gets a break for Dallas. Crowd could get too out of whack. 60% Dallas fans and then the small amount of Panther fans being upset creates bad PR/TV * I largely want him to just play but I could see a little mix up at QB and going back to him

lol. Just had to check. Megatron wasn’t even the 3 peat of first round WRs. That came after they finally moved on from Harrington. Megatron was the 4th WR in 5 years Talk about insanity.

Harrington is a nice example. We already have matched the 2 first round WRs. Bryce stans would probably want us to make it 3 in a row like the Lions and give Bryce one more shot like Harrington. I sort of forgot about how nuts the Lions went there

Brees went 8-8 as a starter year 1. THAT alone kills Brees from the convo. Because that’s not being horrible for a the stretch Bryce has been. Thats a solid first year as a starter. and that makes his sophomore slump season bearable because you have already seen solid play (which Bryce doesn’t have) year 3 he wins 11 games. Brees represents a very normal pattern. Solid first year. Sophomore slump. Breakout.

1. He is too small. Have you not seen the fact the ball has been flying out of his hands the past 2 Sundays? You know we can't really QB sneak in Carolina right? I mean is he maybe a little tougher than some might think? Sure. But that doesn't mean he isn't too small. 2. He can't make all the throws and many of his throws just flat out stink. His vertical and sideline throws generally stink. See week 1. I can't say see week 2 because he didn't attempt any. You doing a whole lot of ignoring week 1 and letting one okay ball to a LOT of talking. Essentially every ball minus one that went downfield stunk. 3. now you are getting into that 2024 PFF deep ball nonsense and I'm not doing anymore of that.

and let's just all agree Canales is good looking/talking Matt Rhule. actually you know what, Matt Rhule would at least give some folks a light trashing
