  1. This 100 percent. Totally incoherent. I was ready to suck for two years from jump street, we know what it takes to get a good QB, we've all been watching AFC teams
  2. If they trade down.... Team needs to aquire more talent to support a QB. No more putting the cart before the horse, just take your medicine and be bad for a year with a purpose
  3. What's worth noting is how many of us were willing to jeopardize our sense of morality to support that dude if we did land him. Let's be real.
  4. DJ would be like the only high cost player we have by this time next year (they're moving on from Shaq and CMC if he's still getting hurt) so yes, pay him. He's good, still young and getting better every year. And your QB needs guys to throw to. Don't get cute
  5. If Deshaun Watson signs with Atlanta after all this you know he's a perv
  6. Mariotta plus trade down in the draft. That's the move.
  7. Time to move on. Willis this year. Or Stroud/Jurkevic next year
  8. If the NFL is smart those division games are gonna dominate prime time
  9. I'd be more optimistic about drafting a QB at 6 ONLY if it's Willis and the team makes the choice not to play him at all his rookie season. Ala Trey Lance. And next year you have Darnolds contract coming off the books and a full slate of high draft picks. Then the priority would be keeping DJ Moore and maybe Burns if the loss of Reddick pushes him to become the best version of himself. Other pricey guys, like CMC and Shaq, would likely finally be able to be moved too.
  10. If Baker were an actual adult then they'd have not said that at all or inquired about Deshaun. They clearly have doubts and I'm not sure we can blame them considering his play and the amount of attention he's warranted. They thought they were getting Brett Favre when they drafted him and no, he is not that guy. They see this dude every day, they aren't being brats if they understand he's not gonna take them to the promised land and a better QB is available (even if he is a sex pest)
  11. The fact they even said that or allowed it to leak kinda speaks poorly of him too though
  12. They also need to think about a DT in the near future bc Derrick Brown looks like a Hurney swing and miss.
  13. Like if they want to stay at 6, Charles Cross is the guy that makes a ton of sense. Its chalk and boring bc hed be a great fit here. Or they could trade down and try and take advantage of the good IOL and LB prospects in this draft bc there are like 3 IOL worth taking in the first whod start immediately here. A QB selection at 6 screams short-sighted right now.
  14. Pickett to me looks like a worse Matt Ryan and to me you'd wanna aim higher, especially seeing the QBs in the AFC right now
  15. This is actually a more realistic spot bc Carroll wants to run the ball and doesn't wanna put the ball in his qbs hands anyway, even when he has a top five one
  16. He's a riskier proposition than Trey Lance. And Lance didn't start last year and played sparingly. So no, I don't want to draft this guy, despite liking him as a prospect. He'd be set up to fail in this poorly managed rebuild we're experiencing here. This franchise needs to suck it up and take its lumps bc right now they're embarrassing themselves.
  17. If a team picks him in the first, the best fit is Pittsburgh by a mile
  18. Simply don't think he's good enough to overcome being drafted here, despite that fantastic arm. Everyone knows QBs need an ecosystem to thrive, cough Josh Allen Pat Mahomes Lamar Jackson cough, a project like him coming here to be the savior when the infrastructure blows is a bad idea all around
  19. I'm basically PRAYING that Fitterer has control over the draft and recognizes the qb talent isn't there and does his trade down thing again so we can actually improve the roster before throwing a rookie out there, this offensive line still blows
  20. I'd be interested in Collins. Ten bucks says Beasley signs with the Patriots
  21. The fact this guy's career has been a clownshow to this point was kinda expected, esp if you saw that police tackle video from when he was in college. This situation is perfect and the Browns are right to seek an upgrade. And I say this fully admitting he was injured last year and that probably contributed to his down season. But his rep is still largely built off his rookie season.
