  1. They already fugged up. They should be paying Brown now but they can't without dealing with Burns either way first. Let's play 'what have they learned' Brown edition...
  2. 175 yards, 1 td and 1 int with lots of attempts. Vikings get up early and the run game gets forgotten again early.
  3. They revolutionized how to use the cap. That really helped them to pay and waste so much money every year. You are not really wrong about the rest. A lot more miss than hit for years.
  4. It absolutely could be the same tho with some of the word about what they got up to when they worked here. It's bad and Tepper isn't going anywhere unfortunately. Yes I would take bunch of the posters on the board over the Ts. But I couldn't tell you someone that is rich enough that's worth wishing for. I always saw Tepper or whoever as being like playing russian roulette with all but one round loaded. Well shocker we didn't win that game
  5. I think JR fired them because they weren't up to his standards, which are generally accepted as mediocre. I think you might just be digging a new hole with one of his kids. I have given up on NFL ownership. There are some well regarded owners but those are the same ones that don't poop where their teams play so that is about as good as you are going to get.
  6. Yup, consultant time or bust again until they get lucky. Naw, Ron needed the change and getting fired woke him up. He was dead at the wheel by the end of 2019 and that 3-4 switch. Cam gone, Luke taking big head injuries and JR being gone after getting thrown out was a huge load on that man. Fug Hurney, he should never have been brought back. For me that's like wishing JR was still here, hard pass for me. Another GM might have helped save Ron and teach Tepper as a rookie but we had Hurney teaching Tepper and in on the Rhule hire. Fug no
  7. Jackson's contract was always a giant mistake. That is a player you trade before year 4 and let someone else make that mistake while walking away with a 2nd or 3rd. He was always so replaceable...if we had better people...
  8. No thanks. We would be better off getting to try again. I do agree about the most owners thing. On to a the next turd, no need to bring one back.
  9. I think some people forget what a POS JR really was while drowning in Teppers' endless mistakes. Trading losing for mediocrity at that cost is as sad as these stats. I won't miss Tepper like I don't miss JR.
  10. I have no idea who would be good but I do know that Tepper hires trash. He needs someone to run the front office and then let that person get a GM. The house he built is infested with more of the same he would be getting rid of and you can throw SS out with SF to begin the cleaning.
  11. I was talking more recreation athletics but sure that works.
  12. Size does not matter some have been told...
  13. Absolutely couldn't debate against that. I just want to see it. When we drafted him I thought he would be the SS I had wanted for so long. Just curious.
  14. It's a bigger problem to miss on Young then not win games this year. He may not be ready but he better get ready or hide on IR. If he needs to sit then they shouldn't have picked him and that would become a giant problem for them way sooner than next year. None of this has anything to do with how I feel about him or his play. He is also going to be publicly scrutinized as the # 1 pick so sitting doesn't make anything quieter, it actually increases the angst and media volume moving forward. Love didn't have that behind Rodgers. Mahhomes didn't have that behind Smith. And Lance who was a giant failure didn't get much care because they were winning and he was behind Jimmy G and Purdy. Allen only started 11 games but he was also a known project and leap for them. You want to put Young behind Dalton and call it justified? It's like brining your own nails to a crucifixion.
  15. Too busy making deals but after the SC fiasco it's obvious where his attention is focused. The other hint is that he keeps hiring people he likes and not people that do a better job. And he is training Nicole in his ways...
  16. He is acting a lot more like the owners that meddle. Plenty of flags out there. You sound desperate and your case does not hold up under scrutiny. Tepper has been apart of every process every year. He was learning from them his first year. He was buddies with Rhule his first year. And he was still going on serious scouting visits when they still had him coming in for a personal visit where it's much more likely to meet owners at their house and such right? It's like some of yall did not experience JRs pr years. He was such a fair, kind and respectful gentleman because they told me so and he looked it. LOL
  17. Holy crap when hasn't Tepper been involved with the process? WTF are yall talking about. He is always in the room. Draft, scouting trips, meatballs. He doesn't look like a Jerry trying to be a GM but he sure is on hand anytime something goes down. That doesn't take away form the rest of the crew doing their thing. He is always there and crap always ends up the same seems to be the consistent things going on since he bought the team.
  18. Anything sure. Guy has either been wasted here or was a 1 year wonder. I'm just interested in seeing which
  19. Now put Chinn in at SS so we can all see what that looks like before his contract is up.
  20. Little happens in the NFL in a vacuum. They were meddling being there and that is at least 1 %. Never said 100.
  21. Go look up other owners at prodays & proday dinners and get back to me. No one knows the mix but he was there. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...
  22. Tepper was at that dinner along with Nicole. No idea what the mix was but they were there and in on that pick to some extent.
  23. Love went 26 and was a project. They spent 2 1st and a starting WR in his prime to pick Young who's giant positive was he was pro-ready. Closes thing to Young sitting would be Lance at 3 who sat behind Jimmy G who had been taking them to the playoffs and he was a giant project coming from a covid riddled year. I don't know about any other QBs picked 1st sitting recently except for extremally poor performances. I'm going to look that up.
