Cam's Final Words -- The Pig, or the Chicken**

And DJ, and Jackson, and Brown, and the entire O line, etc -
What Exactly were they ‘trying to do’?

What does he do with this?

Panthers Bringing back Rhule. Planning to start OC search next week
Tbe replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This. No QB, no O line, no CMC, and a HC on borrowed time. No one good will take that situation. -
Yeah that’s not just a typo. I always thought Newton employed a cheap overseas ghost writer or something like that to make his stuff. He gives them notes and they fill in the blanks. Who knows. To many strange things like this over the years.

Nixon has 10 years of nfl experience. No nfl OC experience though. -
Did the original article really say that!?! Lol…he must be using some kind of AI article writer or speech to text with heavy grammar correct. No way he actually typed that out. I can see how a speech to text program would interpret fire (heavy southern accent) to ‘fore’. What a lazy bum.

So the OP expects players to criticize their coach during press conferences? I watched Burn’s interview. He was clearing trying to keep it positive. His words weren’t coming from the heart.

Sure, they want some of those assets before they disappear. They see a brand name and a million some subscribers. This is like Rhule (nyt) and Darnold (athletic). Rhule (nyt) sees that strong arm (subscribers) and former high draft pick (cool brand) and thinks their genius will turn it around. Let’s send a 2nd pick and millions of cap dollars to get him! Maybe. But in all likelihood nyt will drop it for low performance in a few years and eat that big chunk of change.
-
Buying a company on the verge of bankruptcy is hardly an example of monopoly making. The athletic is too big to survive in its current form because not enough people want to subscribe (see constant huddle complaints about it not being free). The times will eventually kill it or turn it into something else.

Yep, and they don’t have a single chess player on that staff. Matt needs to realize he is a college culture builder. Not an NFL strategist. He’ll be a lot more successful following the path he’s good at.
-
That is very true. I also think him and his guys are just not good at the X’s and O’s. They don’t know how to put their guys in the best places to succeed at this level. They’re getting out coached because they don’t know what they don’t know.

Does anyone on here work in digital advertising?
Tbe replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Billboards are not digital ads. You could run targeted display ads on the Charlotte observer, etc but something like that may not be approved. A facebook/insta ad targeted to all CLT residents would be funny too. You’d have to soften the message though as there is no way FB would approve a direct “fire Rhule” ad. They’d most likely ban you for it. -
Don’t forget. Our O line had the lowest grade in PFF history a few weeks back.

Right before that final snap when he threw the pick, they zoomed in on his face. He looked scared to death.

Darnold: 0 TDs in 20 consecutive quarters now.

TBH…the QB of the future is probably still in middle school. Its going to be a long wait. -
Matt Rhule responds to scathing report of volatile culture
Tbe replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep, that kind of bad press will do that. He needs to think long term and realize he’ll be under a national microscope next year with no QB and no Oline. He can guarantee himself millions of college dollars by quitting and saying something like “I realize now my talents, methods, and passions are in the college game.” -
Matt Rhule responds to scathing report of volatile culture

For the sake of his own career, he should quit now. If he doesn’t turn things around next year (unlikely) he’ll find himself in Adam Gase territory. Un-hirable.
