He's very by-the-book from the games I've watched. I wouldn't go as far as to say he's like a Bridgewater though.

There's just no way the top four are available at our pick with the teams in front of us that need a quarterback this year. There's even teams picking behind us right now doing what they can to leapfrog us for a quarterback. I do not know what is going to happen draft day. There's a lot of talent at quarterback and even more teams that need one.

I wonder what the Cardinals are thinking? Their pick is worth a lot more after today. It's possible that any of Young, Stroud, or Richardson will be available at their pick. Three very different quarterbacks, but all excellent prospects. I have no idea what order they'll go, but I still have the feeling that Stroud will be first.

Stroud doing what he does. Excellent passer.

This is a three, I guess 4 if you count Levis, draft. Pretty good year.

Nope. I was reading the start of this thread and crapped on a couple of your posts after you drop it on me, without bothering to @ or reply me like a man. Then you spazzed out and starting going back months. You're like a jealous ex girlfriend level of crazy.

He started shitting on my posts from January, December, and beyond so I went through and burned my daily limit on his recent posts.

Sounds about right.
-
Yeah, there wasn't much there when it was supposed to be his show.

I encourage everyone to watch as many games as possible of prospects they like. Just type "prospect name vs" into Google or YouTube and you'll usually find cutups of every snap from individual games.
-
Type in "anthony richardson vs" into Google or YouTube and watch his game cutups. He can, but he has to learn to be consistent with his mechanics. If the Panthers built a super star coaching staff made for quarterback development, why not take a homerun swing?
-
Anyone saying Richardson is all combine hype needs to google his games and watch cutups. He navigates the pocket superbly well and can make every throw. He needs to work on consistent mechanics, timing, and putting more time in the film room. However, you can easily see him improve throughout each of his games with these deficiencies. He's uber athletic, young, and is everyone seems to love him in interviews. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he goes first overall. On the other hand, Will Levis I still do not like. I didn't like his games from this year, or even last year when he was healthy. He's athletic, but nothing too special. He reminds me of a less athletic Sam Darnold.
-
It's interesting how the Ryan Tannehill comparison with Sam Darnold has morphed into Geno Smith. Meanwhile, it's being reported that Tennessee have already made Chicago an offer for the first overall pick.
-
I have watched games from both years.
-
So, I've watched more of Levis and I don't know what scouts are seeing. The guy constantly overthrows his receivers, cannot navigate a pocket, looks flustered for entire games and even sort of has bad hands — for a quarterback. He has an atrocious offensive line, but he hardly ever even attempts to climb the pocket, he just waddles around or bails. In fact, a lot of the time he doesn't even take a step forward. What does Will Levis have then? Size? Arm strength? He's like a less athletic Sam Darnold that doesn't have the scramble ability.
-
Levis is the only quarterback I wouldn't take in the first round out of the top four. Maybe I'm missing something, I've only watched about five game snap cut-ups, but he doesn't have it between the ears. He reminds me so much of Sam Darnold's slow processing of the field.

Wasn't he literally crying in post-game press conferences?

Go ahead. Let them spins their wheels in mediocrity for half a decade like we have.

The Matt Rhule stories right after.

That's nice, but from just googling. Daniel Jeremiah 2022 NFL mock draft 4.0: Steelers, Lions select QBs; Cowboys pick WR 2022 NFL Mock Draft - WalterFootball.com 2022 NFL Mock Draft: final projection on draft day - Sports Illustrated If you follow mocks, you'll know that writers will come up with all sorts of random scenarios to generate clicks. I generally stick with established mock drafters, and community mock drafts done by writers for specific teams.
-
Things do change quite a bit, but usually it's guys moving up the boards. Last year the mocks I was looking at early had only Pickett going in the first, with Corral sometimes. After Malik's pro-day he was hyped for a week or two, showing up in mocks, but ultimately the mocks went back to mainly Pickett being mocked to the Steelers, and sometimes Malik.

The mocks I was looking at had Pickett and sometimes Malik going in the first round, and that was usually only to the Steelers.

Tepper admits to mistake in hiring Matt Rhule
Krovvy replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's great and all but the reason I think a lot of fans aren't giving Tepper any slack is because, since he's taken over, the Panthers have been on their worst stretch in franchise history. It's a tough fact to ignore, but we're now half a decade into being at the bottom of the league.
