I could say Darnold got his contract and got fat and lazy like it’s said about other players on here, but no. Sam was never good to begin with, and he shouldn’t have gotten that 5th year added on

Sam is everything that fans tried to say our last real QB was; inaccurate and doesn’t have it between the ears. I hope we find another franchise QB soon.

Well, he’s 0-2 in picking QBs. It’s usually 3 strikes and you’re out, so I imagine he’ll get one more shot. For his sake, he better realize the mistake he made in Darnold quickly and pick better when it comes to selecting another QB. When Watson and Stafford fell through, he should’ve probably went apologizing to Teddy and tried to make it work. Draft Fields or Jones, and used Teddy for the stopgap he was

Everything they said Cam is and was is what Darnold is. He’s not very accurate, and he doesn’t process what he sees on the field. Now, I’m not one of those people who want Cam back, because I think he’s about done, but Cam is and was the best QB this franchise has ever had. He was a franchise QB for us.

Yea, it was obvious they saw in camp that whatever they were trying to get him to learn or understand just wasn’t happening. They saw this and tried to protect him or hide him.

Problem is Darnold. A better QB solves a lot of our problems. Rhule should not have gone into this season depending on Darnold.

Amazing how this thing has turned so quickly. Just last month you had posters telling posters who had doubts about Darnold and our quick start that they needed to eat crow.

Can’t even unload him without taking a huge cap hit, smh. Another mistake by the front office, as we didn’t have to sign him to that extension so quickly

He was dead to rights. I’m not mad at the slide, plus Darnold has been putting him in bad positions for weeks now.

Pass. Get a QB from the draft, or trade for a young proven QB.

I know it’s hindsight, but after Stafford and Watson fell through, we probably should’ve just stood pat and either drafted a QB or O lineman. Probably would’ve helped if we didn’t run Teddy out of town, either. Teddy is better than Darnold, and that’s clear to everyone, atleast it should be now. Teddy isn’t a franchise guy, but he would’ve been perfect to teach a drafted QB like Fields or Jones.

If he looks like this after getting traded to another squad, and being in year 4, then I’m all for everyone on here proclaiming him a bust. Really hard for me to critique rookies, as I’m a bit biased. We had a rookie QB come in and light up the league day one.

Fields is a rookie. He has time. Darnolds time is about up, as it should be. This is year 4

I don’t think so. I was moreso playing along to @Catsfan69post to be honest. I don’t think we’re in anyway close to figuring out how Fields story will go. We pretty much know Sam’s, as he’s been in this league 4 years now, and he hasn’t looked any better.

You’re one of those that can’t be wrong, I see. Fields could turn it around too, as he’s a rookie. Something Darnold is not

I don’t think anyone wanting PJ to play expects him to be a savior or the starting QB of the future. It’s moreso about moving on from Darnold, because he has shown he is not it. Dude doesn’t seem to have it between the ears out there on the field. PJ is trash too, but we really have no other options.

All of those “respected” posters have suddenly disappeared. You still have a few that won’t let you talk about Darnold, but they have switched to fully blaming the coaching staff. Don’t get me wrong, the coaching staff is trash, but Darnold isn’t a starting QB.
