The team needs to get back to Panthers football, a strong front 7 with really good LB play. This cutesy stuff has gotten us where we are now -

I think we have to give him a chance to prove himself. TEs historical take time to develop into the NFL. -
How does he not have a designed role? He is an Inside LB, he is the perfect size for that and he he can rush the passer and get in the backfired on run downs. He has all the tools to play ILB, he is not a tweener or gadget guy. He will play more like Luvu in this system, he is just better. I don't understand why someone would compare him to Chinn and not Luvu.

Chinn is 6'3" 220, Luvu is 6'3 235, Walker is 6'2 245. He is nothing like Chinn. He is not a gadget player, he is a true ILB that can rush the passer and play edge on passing downs. He is also a leader, which we definitely need on defense, especially with Shaq gone.
