Im not delusional either and Im one of those who try to be a realist. I do see there a decent chance to go 8-0. Checkout the schedule, iants with their top 7 D, top 5 OL, top 4 RB, and ugh top 5 HC are the hardest match-up it feels like. Pats are week 9(they are not the old pats), then wash and the Cards....I mean with some luck and they are 10-1 or 9-2. The end is the big issue, but who knows how teams will play. I think davis is well worth the extra coin, unlike Elf over Reed. Davis had a great season in relief of CMC. He proved blocking, RECs, and long/short runs- complete RB and bargain for 5mill @2yrs

I think Reed is better and cost what 8x less? Panthers didnt agree.

Mike Davis should have been resigned if they wanted a power-back. Team is not perfect, but I feel they have been making too miss-takes, even if they are smallish.

If not for Alex Gibbs, Dante Scarnecchia would have been the best OL coach in NFL history. Hes right there (2nd is not bad)and did more with less better than any other.

I noticed that about OL and the team in general, they target athletic profiles....yea D brown is a out-liner. Still target athletic players or "football"(play anywhere, run though wall types etc) players. Seen the panthers claimed him, I headed to the google machine to check out the RAS score...... no surprise its high. The big issue is coaching up this group of mis-fits that have struggled/injury-prone/young/got bad coaching/etc. I think Pat Meyer is in WAAAAYY over his head with this task. If hes able to make a average OL form this clay, give that man all the raises!!

I know theres been no real games played, but my god Finessererereers first free agency class already has two HUGE misses......now the fate is on ELF, ERV and Arnold to make up for negatives. No LB and WR/KR, they were big needs months ago and before the draft. He knows Moore form seahawks days, big 1.25 million miss-take.

Im not a big bench guy, but that was awful low. Wide zone rewards a more athletic player........the issue is red-zone/goal-line.........which the panthers were 31st in....maybe thats the reason for carrying 18 TEs, hmmm... Never was a ELf guy, most times hes playing a dogs fav toy role for DLmen. He looks weak, especially core-wise. I did see were he had a thumb injury that killed his lifting, but for 3 years he gets beat-up badly. Again hopeful the wide zone helps him some, his strength is pulling and out in space.......one vs one goal-line he is at a huge dis-advantage.

Sounds like a loving dad talking. Miller was my fav 2019 draft pick mainly cause of the value. He just was always nicked and when healthy did not show much. Its a performance deal.

Im petty let-down, going to look over the group again, may have missed a 2019 3rd/etc. Benardrick McKinney was one the better LB, but its a flag when the team that traded for you released you...thats two teams that passed on your services....
