  1. I mean you guys can want his head on a plate, Im a pissed off panther fan as well and was cussing up a storm when it happened. Jones had a chance to tell his side and it made some sense, burns did lay him out and Im sure he blacked out some, like he said... Now the part about going for a UFC ankle submission........ I hope he is right about thinking burns had the ball, if not..... he said he didnt know what was happening as well.....tho he should have gone to the medical tent...... carry on as you wish
  2. Is there a close up of his face during this? The full time play? Id like to see it, I may take my statement back. https://boston.cbslocal.com/2021/11/08/mac-jones-responds-panthers-calling-him-dirty-brian-burns/
  3. Hes no Romo, He said burns got a solid/great hit and was out of it for a moment or two. Came too and thought Burns had the ball. I believe him. He doesnt have the rep of a dirty player either.....tho he did play at bama....... I think the radio has his statement up, WEEI maybe??
  4. I disagree with the notion that Tepper does not care, cause hes still getting money/return/______ . Im not not the biggest Tepper nut-hugger either. Im 99.98846% sure he is pissed about home game turn-outs. Many have already hit on the reason;melting pot central, poor product, etc. @Seltzer I nearly made this thread after the eagles game. A old friend/acquaintance that touches base with me during the season or if big news hits. Anyway he called me the next day(rare), told me the same stuff you layed out. I said "thats the way it always is, front running fans and thats the main fan %". "NOPE THIS FELT DIFFERENT", was his reply...........Hes been going to games for 20 years too, during the bad times and end of the year, hes there. Just the panthers fans aborted halftime(like normal...) and it felt like he was at philly home game form the mid-3rd til the end....I never heard him use the word "embarrassed", he thats what felt like. He said philly controled the stadium and was doing their home game chants, that has happened before(blowboys, steelers etc). Again he said this time it was waaay different feel, never before, even during the worst times.......I hope tepper does do something for you PSL owners, I think he must after the season. Hate to say wait, but thats the game til off-season...
  5. YES. I said many times during the off-season not to worry about Safety, but the CB group carry the "best" DB group in panther history. Just too many studs, many of which are young. Keith Taylor is ballin, he has replaced Horn as a 1st round talent/skill. CJ Henderson+5th for 3rd and DannyArnold??? I do that trade again even with CJ struggling some, 10/10. Gilmore looked fresh his last game. Bouye is after thought, but he doesnt look bad at all. STO has been playing ST and even with the group sucking, he has not. Djak looking like a star in the making and they better tag him if they want to keep him. Tony Pride is on IR and will be playing for another team in 2022. It is super nice to be this loaded at a higher valued position group. Dime is Gilmore, Djack, Henderson, and Taylor?? God dam Horn may need change to an TE!1!1!!
  6. If you want to focus on the negative points, you will have plenty to pick form. The 3-0 start and Thomas Davis going full retard, almost made me forget where the 2020 panthers came form.(I had them as a 7-10 team, looking a tad better). You have the history and IQ, they lost nearly 60% stats and impact players. You can not fix all the issues in two years. I mean right now- QB is 50/50(better than Cam/teddy/______), OL(every single team needs/looking for OL), TE, and LBs. The depth at DL could need some help, but compared to 2020 its day/night. Team is younger and talents are all around. They figure out how to get a decent OL, a TE that defensives have to guard/respect some..... and the QB Sam becomes the one/sign a Jake/________ . This team is fighting for a playoff spot(not a home one...). 2022 was my guess if things are going well and I think they are(truth). Im was not a Rhule fan and can not stand his lying during pressers. Still that 2020 team fought every week and except 10 quarters they were in each game. Not the same feels this year, but overall talent has improved and the best part is the age. Brady is figuring out how to call a game when he doesnt have an huge talent advantage. Snow is carrying the whole team with a young group. ST has been trash, Zane has helped cover for Blackburn. Im still willing to give Rhule another full season, my god he had the hardest start in NFL history and came away standing. Team has improved and right now week 8 they are 1 win away form matching last seasons total. Yea they should already have passed the win total, but they have improved the core talents and should have more wins than 2020.
  7. This another BIG checkmark for Dave Gettleman when everyone(including me) laughed about him trading OBJ to the browns......They couldnt even get an 2034 7th for him after Dave got 1st 3rd and former 1st in Jarbrill Pappers.....in 2019!! Hes labeled toxic and worthless(checkout that 17mill salary, LOL). Dave made mistakes, but this looks like one of the most lop-sided trades in recent history. Yea injury and all, he is not a elite WR and I dont even know if he is starting one right now.
  8. Your reasons are why I picked Taylor. In order to get a valued lotto ticket, you need to give up some value. I love Taylors play and its currently a highly overvalued OL market. So its going to be higher value needed to take a 2019 1st round LT. He got everything you want far as numbers for LT.....sorta like Greg Little tho....
  9. So most say no about Dillard for Taylor.....weird Just doing a heat check and still throwing it at the wall; Donovan Smith for Keith Taylor. Forget if its possible, just would that be be enough? Im trying to find a equal to Keith Taylor, mainly LT/OL..
  10. Yea he hasnt played well, but if he was no chance hed be available. I mean Im talking about Keith Taylor here........Did I miss the time-line were Taylor has entered the HOF?? I think Dillard is still fixable and hes still young. All I shooting for is a decent LT, Im still believe Dillard could be just that.
  11. You have a better chance at signing a good QB than good LT, they just dont hit the market. Its the rarest of rare. LT is the hardest spot to fill, thats worth one 5th rounder Keith Taylor. Its good hes playing well, adds to his value.
  12. But LT......Dillard is on a rookie deal as well. Hes not a lost cause and they would have to take some dead cap hit. So you would turn down Taylor for Dillard?? Yea Talyor is playing well, but he was an 5th rounder. Dillard was on everyones top 20 list and plays LT, just one year ago. I think its worth the risk, in order to get potential you have to trade something of value. Bouye has little to no value to the rebuilding eagles, where as Taylor does.... Im not full 100% for it, but think its fair for everyone and worth the risk for panthers.
  13. I think philly would come back and ask for Taylor after the panthers offered Bouye. Taylor is much younger and has 3 more years of cheap contract, were Bouye has only one year and I think the cap hit is sorta high next year. I think its fair for both sides, Dillard plays LT and that spot holds more value than CB. Would you honestly turn down Dillard for Taylor?? I know Dillard looks soft and Taylor doesnt.... its more of a risk right now for panthers.....but finding a LT is harder than finding a CB. Panthers would still be loaded at CB, even next year as well...
  14. I'll throw this out there. Keith Taylor for Andre Dillard. Taylor has been playing great and Dillard lost his starting LT job. Taylor has one more year of cheap contract and philly needs CBs. I almost dont want to make this trade cause its a good chance Dillard is another Greg Little clone given his poor play. Risk.....tisk....
  15. Gage is a decent #2, but Ridley is like panthers DJ moore. In fact until this year it was hard to pick one over the other(if you didnt factor in age). Hes a real difference maker and he could have been the main reason for Panthers winning.
  16. Its feels like most people online only use the interwebz/SM to complain&bitach. Thats just the current system, very sad. The news channels found this out before interwebz, the higher rating came form negative&depression news. Many tried to have a focus on positive stories, but the human attention dropped greatly. Another people problem and their wiring....
  17. https://www.panthers.com/team/injury-report/ Thats a handy tool for player injuries. Make sure you pick the correct week.
  18. Matt " Ron Fox " Rhule it is then.... I mean they spent all the 2020 draft picks on D, many of the higher cost FA signees were on the D side. About half this years picks and the 8th overall used on D. So it should not surprise anyone thats their strength. Plus Phil Snow >>> Joke Brady.
  19. Sam played much than the numbers showed. I think it was his best game overall.....In the wins Sam played ok-well-good-great. In the loses hes has played poor-bad-decent-awful......Interesting.....
  20. For me its about adding young talent........now the rams are on everyones mind and they are taking a different path. I think there is success in what they are doing, but not if half the league is also doing the same. Rams are alone and with the draft picks they used, GREAT picks. Finding a legit QB covers up many other issues. Think about Pats without Tom, hawks without Russ, and green bay without Arod...... no chance at getting the same wins or long term success teams had without them touching the ball. Many other ways, I feel adding young talent is the best overall for the now and ten years form now. Sometimes all a team needs a decent HC, 49ers are a example.
  21. Pumping dem IR numbers....... member the late season RR IR dump?? then he'd say "well we had 27 guys on IR"....... yea ron and half were put there on week 14 after the playoffs were a dream.....early start it feels...
  22. right now its hard to find a worse starting WR than Robby, plus the big issue is he has goten plenty of targets especially in the last few weeks. 11 targets 3 recs 14 yards is team killing,,,
  23. Thanks for not being a popular e-bitach that spends most waking hours complaining online.
  24. Very true, one of the backups that had a impact....gave full effort and only real fans saw it.... brandon zylstra was another and hes on IR..... Hard to find players that play hard regardless of score and feelings
