Yep both Budenholzer and Doc Rivers are available and would be immediate upgrades to help develop a young team like ours.
-
Now fire Clifford.
-
The most recent one comparing him to Baker with a “same poo different year” comment doesn’t seem to align with that, but I’ll take your word on it. If I had you pegged wrong then I apologize. Like I said nothing wrong with being against it before the draft, I preferred Stroud throughout most of it.
-
I got that from your pre draft comments when you were constantly talking about how his size doesn’t fit the models you were looking at. It’s no big deal if you were against drafting him. There is a fair point to be made against it, but the pick has been made and there is no need to keep raining on the parade. That’s all.
-
Ok so here is the dumb full quote. You reminded everyone our QB looked decent this early in OTAs also (pretty sure we traded for him later like in July and he wasn’t a rookie but whatever). We get you didn’t like Young because he didn’t fit in some random models you were obsessing over, but let the fans of his have their hype. This time of year with this team/staff should provide plenty of hype and hope for our future!

Are the stripes on the black jerseys going to be smaller also? I like that look better… -
Has to be those black practice jerseys. That was a real defining moment for him.
-
Good call! Looks like they missed it in 2010. Again I think Davis kind of hurt himself by taking that nearly identical roster to the championship the prior year. He is obviously getting more time as HC which he should.
-
Definitely a fair point, but he took that same roster and underachieved pretty bad by UNC standards. I mentioned his championship year. It kind of gave the fans too high of expectations… They are doing right by him and keeping him around. I think he will have them bounce back this year.
-
It was a bad look to completely miss the tournament with that team. When was the last time UNC missed it? Matt Doherty?? I think he will be good in the long run, but taking that team to the finals the previous year raised fans expectations too high.
-
You can whine and complain all you want, but at the end of the day Bryce Young is our QB. I want nothing but success for the man. Keep Pounding!
-
True, but it’s still odd they did a very similar thing a year ago. I think most agree these physically talented, raw QBs need time to develop. They could do this every year, but without time and commitment it’s going to fail. Hopefully they do right by Levis and develop him properly.
-
Yeah but then they draft Levis so it’s tough to understand where they are coming from…
-
Yep Willis looked great in practice and preseason last year. Regular season showed he is still very raw and not ready to the point of Tennessee drafting another QB.
-
I’m loving our QB room right now!

At this point in time, who feels like we lost this trade?

If Young is a franchise QB we won or it was worth it, either way you want to look at if. If Young busts it will take 3 years or more before we write him off, by that time the trade assets will be paid up. It’s a trade you make as a GM 10/10 times if you think there is a franchise QB in the draft. -
I don’t think @mrcompletely11’s was negative. He basically said if Young works he will be All-Pro. He will either be great or not work out/stay hurt no in between…
-
Yeah we need to hold on to Corral and let Reich and company develop him as well. Young, vet backup, and project QB works well with the new rules. I think Young is the guy but, until he official shows it, we shouldn’t overlook any options.
-
He has no clue what he is taking about 90% of the time. He is so desperate to be the smartest person in the room, but never is…

My wife is Canadian and several of her family members like well done steaks and are terrified of burgers not well done. To me a well done steak loses its juiciness, tenderness, and some flavor, but to each their own.
-
Lol can’t say that I do, but I don’t complain when it mixes with my potatoes…
-
A well done steak isn’t even steak anymore. I will admit I do order medium usually though. Something about it being cool in the middle doesn’t always sit right with me unless it’s a nice steakhouse.
