  1. If we are picking in the top 10 and the big 3 are gone there is no need to reach. After the top 3 there is a drop off, but still a long list of talented passers. However, there are still a lot of games left and I think we will walk away with Stroud, Young, or Levis.
  2. Nah just grab Hooker, McCall, Hall, or McKee in the 2nd or trade back and draft one. UCLA QB looks good too. I think one if the big 3 will fall to us though.
  3. Nice job on offense operating at 25% capacity…
  4. I wonder how Rhule feels right now??
  5. I’ll take a win all day long! Especially against Tampa!
  6. There are plenty of QBs in this draft. This is great!
  7. You are complaining about Stroud’s system and want McCall or Hartman. It’s just a complete joke at this time. No one is taking you seriously anymore man. Go back to bragging about wanting Neal over Icky…
  8. Imagine what we would do with that other “75% of our offense”….
  9. Stroud, Young, Levis, Hooker, Penix, McCall, UCLA QB, Jaren Hall there will be options
  10. Top 10 over the past 3 years at age 26 sounds excellent to me.
  11. We could have actually been “tanking” for Luck. He was eligible that year but decided to stay his senior year before the draft. Plus it’s not very often teams are able to trade for an elite QB. I know we had Stafford and Russ (what a poo show Denver has turned into), but normally teams don’t ditch franchise QBs unless they are towards the end of their careers. Brady and Manning were signed as FAs but they are picking exactly where they want to go and what they want in those teams. Denver has been struggling to find a guy since Manning left after year 2. It will be interesting to see what happens to Tampa post Brady.
  12. So not a JAG. Which is what I was saying. He is excellent at a very desirable skill.
  13. Did he just use the Lions as his example??? Wow… They are currently one of our main competitors for the top pick. I’m going to assume they also are looking at QBs. Basically they passed on last year’s class, but still are struggling to get wins.
  14. I’m talking about the player you are calling a JAG. Why would a “very good football team” offer 2 firsts for a JAG? Or sign a pass rusher than can’t play run defense to a nice contract?
  15. You like local QBs. That’s great, but not a good rationale for drafting one over better options.
  16. He had 17.5 last year (very impressive) but only has 6 this year. A&M, and UT held him to 0 sacks 2.5 of them have come from Vandy… I seriously forgot he was even playing when I was watching the Tennessee game. Generational DEs are like Peppers and Garrett who you always notice every game. Anderson could be good, but not worth 1st overall to me.
  17. Anderson is small and got handled by Tennessee’s LT last week.
  18. You don’t think LSU’s all NFL roster outclassed their competition?
  19. He is probably my favorite candidate too. He has Hurts playing well in a system made for him. I think it’s a simple 2 year rebuild. Year 1 is ditching the bloated contracts, eating the dead money, hiring a young offensive minded coach, then drafting a young QB to develop. We have extra picks now to add some young pieces and in 2024 we have a ton of cap space to complete our roster and get ready to make a run.
  20. Imagine Burrow sitting there at 1 and a Bengal’s staff member saying “name one good QB from LSU?” Followed by a smug “I’ll wait…” lol Umm ok now let’s look at the actual player and what he does well.
