Maybe we are ranked dead last in offense because our RB was 75%. If one person is 75% of a shitty product what does that make them?
-
Oh you are still crying because our overpaid RB than hasn’t had a complete season in 3 years got traded away. I understand now…

You don’t agree with the Panthers OR the team offering 2 firsts which is clearly a team in the playoff race. The Eagles signed Reddick who was great at sacks and not as good against the run, they seem to be doing ok right?
-
Thankfully the league doesn’t agree with your “assessment” of pass rushers or Burns.
-
Hating on a pass rusher who gets sacks as his “one trick” is like hating on a QB who throws TDs as his one trick.

Just wait until he actually has an off game, which is bound to happen. Huddle is going to deem him a bust and freak out even more.

Wait the Bama OL isn’t good now? I think this is a huge (no pun intended) misconception. When I watch Young play he usually has plenty of time, but then extends the play even longer with his legs. People see him getting “pressured,” but it’s usually after he has had 4-5 seconds in the pocket. The commentators were actually laughing about it during the MSU game. He had 8 real seconds to go through his reads then ran off to the left to buy 2 more of them. They put a timer up and it was 10 real seconds before he passed it. I don’t think he is getting that in the NFL. Alabama and Ohio Stare have great OLs, and OSU has an elite WR while Alabama has an elite RB. These are two of the top recruiting schools and both QBs have loads of talent around them. Young is just more of the backyard football player which could be a good or bad thing. He looks better when a play breaks down but does appear to love to leave the pocket (because of his size perhaps) and more times than not QBs need to stay in the pocket in the NFL.

I definitely see us getting a vet as well. If we hire the Eagles OC I would imagine the QB room as rookie, Minshew, and Corral. They have 3 active QBs in Philly so he might bring the same philosophy here. I think they should hold on to Corral because of the potential, but I don’t see him taking reps from our top pick. We hopefully aren’t doing the Matt Rhule QB competition again…
-
If Corral somehow defeats all odds and looks great, then we simply flip him or our top pick for a nice return and be grateful we finally have a franchise QB.

The best edge rusher in the world is more valuable that a jag always injured RB. See I can say dumb things with nothing to back them up too.
-
Trying to find the next Tom Brady is a dangerous game. Brady is just mentally on another level. The closest thing I’ve seen so far is Joe Burrow, but there is still obviously a big gap.

Yeah let’s keep doing what we have been doing! It worked so well. Signing Teddy as a FA and trading for Sam/Baker. Ditching bloated contracts for veteran players is the correct way to build sustained success. CMC and Robbie fit that description (and I’m looking at you Shaq as well). Plus we get some picks to build a cheaper younger roster. Drafting a QB and getting him on that rookie contract while we eat this dead cap hit next year should follow up nicely with 2024’s huge amount of cap space to sign FAs to complete our roster with our new HC and QB having a year to get their feet wet. That’s the way to do it IMO.
-
Honestly he probably won’t. A vet QB will more than likely be signed that could start until our pick is ready. The offense/scheme will be catered to our top pick as well. I don’t see every position splitting reps with every player on the depth chart to be fair, that’s just not how it usually works. More reps, and more exposure equals greater chance of success for our rookie.
-
This isn’t the 80s
-
Give me the Eagles’ OC as our new coach and Minshew as the vet backup that’s familiar with the new coach. Minshew can play until Stroud is ready. Corral can be QB3 as the Eagles have 3 active QBs on the roster. Also the new OC isn’t going to split reps with his top pick and Corral. Is he going to split them with his practice squad QB as well? The offense will be catered to our top pick and he will probably get a bulk of the reps.
-
Our new HC won’t let an unproven 3rd round pick from a previously failed HC dictate how he handles his top pick. I get you like Corral and I see some potential with him but he is far from a sure thing right now and he desperately need a QB.
-
Yeah and the last 2 QBs from Oregon were Harrington and Mariotta, do not want Herbert. LSU was Russell so no Burrow!! Such sound logic…
-
Stroud looks legit, Young looks legit (a little small, but I’ll wait on official measurements), and Levis might be the most NFL ready with a high ceiling. It’s a good year to suck IMO.
-
So you want Levis from Kentucky? You must have been a big Tim Couch guy right?
-
He loved the strong arm. Most of been a huge Willis supporter this past offseason. Do you think he was all for Jamarcus Russell and his cannon?
-
You were stating it was unimpressive because the “Big Ten is trash.” I just wanted to know what conference a QB has to play great in to impress you. Mac did it in the SEC and Pickett did it in the ACC. Are they more impressive?
