Mays has played center before. I’d prefer we have a better backup but they seem ok with him.

I feel like the Skins have 100 picks

Panthers Select Chau Smith-Wade DB - Round 5, Pick 157

He is so dumb that it’s genius. -
Panthers Select Ja'Tavion Sanders TE - Pick 101, Round 4

All of our players so far are bringing a physical aspect to their game. I remember Morgan saying he wanted teams to be afraid to play here. A physical WR, physical RB, hard hitting LB, and big physical TE is a good start to help change this culture. -

If we took AD instead of XL it would be a very Texas draft -
Who are the day 3 prospects you want to see us target?

Diontae Johnson not DJ Moore. -
Panthers Select Jonathan Brooks RB - 46th Pick, Round 2

So many Huddle doctors on here apparently. Every injury is different with different rehab and turn around time. Hell Rodgers blew his achilles and could have played in the post season if needed. -
Panthers Select Jonathan Brooks RB - 46th Pick, Round 2

For an ACL? There are different types of tears too. He was apparently clean and he is already running on it. Should be ready by July 1st per Ian R. -
I know it’s earlt but Dan THE MAN Morgan is IMPRESSING me

They are getting the players they have been interested in all offseason. We met with XL what 5-6 times? We brought in Brooks knowing he was the top RB in the draft. Wallace fits exactly what Evero wants from the ILB position. He is raw but can learn behind Shaq and replace him next year. We clearly liked him over every other LB not named Cooper or Colson. People comparing Wallace to DJ are short sighted. We panicked and moved up for DJ because there was a run on edge rushers and not many were left. We traded back and let the draft fall to us and picked Wallace over Wilson and Grey. We were clearly high on him. 2 completely different scenarios and two different positions. Plus Wallace is is young and Johnson was older. -
Panthers Select Trevin Wallace LB - Pick 72, Round 3

I don’t love Tuttle as a DE but he is serviceable and should play better there than NT like last year. Outside of that and what you mentioned it’s starting to resemble a decent Evero defense on paper. -
Right on. The Bryce pick is officially paid in full and we picked in every round this year plus have a full arsenal in every round next year. We can wash our hands of the cost to acquire him. Now we can properly evaluate him and decide if he is our future or not.

DJ’s strength is route running and separation. That is Franklin’s weakness. Franklin is more Chosen Anderson than he is DJ. -
TMJ was a great talent in college. Our staff was just awful at developing players. TMJ in NO probably looks like a different player now honestly.

We brought in Brooks for a visit knowing he was the top RB in this class. We got the player we wanted where he was projected to go and collected a future pick. Whether people like the pick or not is their opinion, but the way we got it was pretty solid.

Panthers Select Trevin Wallace LB - Pick 72, Round 3

It was painfully clear they wanted XL and Brooks. They made it happen while collecting a 2nd next year. Wallace is more than likely an Evero guy who will learn from Shaq this year and hopefully take over next year. He is raw but has everything you want in a ILB for the 3-4 defense we run. -
I want the Wisc C and am hoping we can get him with our 5th. 4th can be Tampa or Sanders.

Panthers Select Jonathan Brooks RB - 46th Pick, Round 2

It was July. My bad. Regardless he should get plenty of snaps this year. -
At a later spot. Didn’t they just draft Bush at LB a few years ago?

It’s relevant. A 20 year old with a clean ACL tear isn’t much of a red flag, -
I think Oregon helped hide his weaknesses in their offense. I also think they made Nix look better than he is.

Peyton Wilson is still not drafted. Apparently we aren’t the only team concerned about him. People on here are just hyped on him because Luke gave him a shout out. -

He looks like our new feature back than can run through you or around you, has hands, and is a home run threat. His ACL let us steal him where we did honestly. -

He is better than White IMO -
Apparently he doesn’t run routes well, can win 50/50 balls can can’t beat press well. Just runs deep like Chosen Anderson and hopes to get past everyone.

Lol yeah I’ve heard none of them will start by a very reliable source…
