This better be a smokescreen by Panthers Smitty says he should be #1.
-
People hated Muhammad Ali because he was arrogant or cocky. He backed it all up and he was the nicest guy outside of the ring, inspired millions
-
It’s all a smokescreen. If TD overheard something from front office guys, believe that it was done on purpose. They’re still trying to trade down and get someone to bite
-
It’s a poor decision to trade up to #1 when you could probably had him at #9

Better be Stroud or Young or I will lose my mind

Former Panthers QB Cam Newton to be throwing at Auburn's Pro Day

He should just take some backup money and go make a difference on some team as a backup. -

Cam responds on Twitter -
He's very negative on Will Levis - thinks he's more of a project than people think. Has bad mechanics, misses a lot of throws, he's the worst in the pocket. Poor decision making as well.

on Anthony Richardson Simms says he needs to be coached up but that physically he's the most impressive QB in history. His athletic ability, the speed, the arm strength. He compared him to Cam Newton but says Cam was obviously the more polished passer. Richardson is not as raw as expected, but is still very raw and presents a risk that he may not develop into the passer he'll need to be. But his ceiling is through the roof based on physical skills alone.

Wishful thinking his arm just can’t handle it. If he was happy to be a backup he could win a few games but that shoulder doesn’t have much left -
Right, by the time he gets to his second contract he’s already in his 30s

I do disagree with Hooker over Richardson but he did clarify it’s based on tape. Hopefully not relevant for us

Agree with this 1- C.J. Stroud Blown away by the film. Makes tons of powerful, pinpoint, game-changing throws. Over and over it’s 15-30 yard throws on the money. Decision-making is not only awesome, but aggressive too. More movement and improv than he gets credit for. 2- Bryce Young He’s a natural at the position. Brain is on another level in terms of decision-making. And he’s super slick – tons of wow releases. Really knows how to move within the pocket too. Arm is good, but not on the level as Stroud. I know he also had Corral as #1 in what was a historically weak class last year so the jury is still out. But he had a pretty good track record, also had Josh Allen as the top prospect in the 2018 draft

Don’t worship these guys yet, let’s see them win some games first

If they can also sign Chark it means we don’t necessarily have to reach to draft someone in what is otherwise a weak WR class.

It shows we did not overpay at all. Just get the pick right.
