Forget about last year and everything that transpired. Bryce has to be looked at and evaluated as a second year rookie. It’s only fair given the crap situation he was in. His performance since regaining the starting job is showing the promise we all hoped for at the beginning of the season. If he continues on this trajectory the rest of the year I am confident he will be back as a starter next year and, frankly it would be the right move. It goes beyond stats, he probably should have had at least 3 TDs against one of the top defensive NFL units. He led the team today, showed tremendous poise and leadership, delivered some big time throws. Future is bright folks!

I would temper our expectations. CMC was a top 8 pick and struggled his first year. I don't expect much from Brooks this year coming back from an injury.

McDermott was on the hot seat last year, good to see him turn it around.

I think this means there will be competition in the QB room next year with Young in the mix. He has improved but not to the degree that he should be crowned as the undisputed franchise QB. Let him continue to prove he can be that against legitimate competition such as Fields or by drafting another QB
