  1. I have been rooting for Barno to put it together just because he is stupid fast in Madden, lol.
  2. Crazy he is only 20 years old with that type of production already. Excited to see what we can make of him. Sounds like a dawg to me. Here's another good quote to add to the pile of good we have already heard in this thread. “He plays his tail off and he’s always in the middle of everything. He’s a force player like George Karlaftis was coming out, but Scourton has a little more rush.” – AFC regional scout
  3. I actually said that. Whether you are trolling or just stupid at this point, I am going to let this go. This should be about Nic Scourton. Sorry everyone.
  4. You watching the draft in your Rae Carruth jersey? Lol
  5. Not about influence in that way in my opinion. One guy can definitely rub everyone the wrong way and kill the vibe. Never had that type of guy around you on a team or job? Maybe that guy is you
  6. We don't do players with character concerns, and I am very thankful for that. Only takes one bad apple to ruin a locker room.
  7. Looks like Cowboys got revenge on us instead. Boo.
  8. This is my thinking as well. Probably trying to trade with the Browns.
  9. Falcons just double dipped on edge and one of those being Jalon Walker who might be a little sore he didn't end up in Carolina. They are the dirty birds for a reason. Investing in taking out Bryce early could be their game plan. I would like to stop him from getting destroyed.
  10. He definitely did. I feel that is a good thing given the scenario. We have to give Bryce everything we can for him to succeed. After this season, we have to know whether or not he is our Franchise QB. I like taking this no excuses approach so it removes all doubt. If Bryce can't put it together this year, we will be forced to start looking again. I would rather there be no doubt. I don't want another scenario where a QB leaves here and is magically doing better. Invest in him like he is our guy until he proves he is not.
  11. Already speaking like a locker room leader to me. He keeps referencing history and the Polynesian people. If he is not all talk, I think we will see great things from him. He already seems to know our coaching staff and has voiced his faith in them as well. Seems like a great fit.
  12. I feel like iron sharpens iron. No way he doesn't learn a bit from T-Mac. T-Mac is a plucker, not a framer. Heard that on an interview somewhere. He is going to be under immense pressure to improve now, and it will also take the heat off of him. He benefits from this move as much if not more than Bryce does. Mic'd up is going to be fantastic. We have a lot of different personalities and accents here. Thielen was already translating. People bond through laughter. I can't wait.
  13. I believe it was freshman in college? That would put him around 19 years old. He couldn't have responded much better to the question, though.
  14. Hearing the young man talk is very reassuring. Glad we got our guy. I understand what we are doing with the investment around Bryce. Excited to see what they can accomplish this upcoming season.
  15. I doubt it. Usually the price required to trade up to 8 is big, and we have made it obvious we want to trade down. Not enough QB interest to make the move worth it for someone to barter with us. Next years picks have the perception of being more valuable due to this draft class.
  16. Panthers keep their cards close to their chest as usual, Jalon Walker is the pick.
  17. We all knew this. This is them just publicly announcing "call me." Good to make it official we are open for business. We should always be open for business, though.
  18. Ouch. I feel like that is a reach. Hopefully a trade down first.
  19. I had to make he tough decision to turn off salary cap years ago, because it would never properly calculate or I was doing something that wasn't showing up on my books. It would eventually break the game completely a few years in. It angers me so much how poor the game is. Basic stuff is just a chore. I spent last night bitching about how my guys were always rules out of bounds when getting 3 steps and toe dragging. I played The Show (baseball game) once and was blown away how much better it is. EA having a monopoly over NFL licenses has ruined the genre.
  20. As much as I hate what Madden has become, and it is tough for me to play it, hearing Greg's voice consistently brings my blood pressure down. So happy he is finding success.
  21. Hadn't considered that angle. Good to do our due diligence anyway.
  22. Yeah. I figured you had Moore and not Moose since he was closer in recent memory.
