Agreed - we are a high volume shooting team, but a lot of these shots are just low percentage. Rags D + Igor do a good job of making sure there are no juicy rebounds.

I literally have no idea who you are, but when we stop hitting shots in Goalie's chests then I will. And actually having an open lane and a net front presence will help with the deflections. We have rarely had both happen at the same time on shot attempts

Fast being hurt definitely hurts the strength of our top D forward line. Jarvis-Aho-Guentzel Necas-Drury-Svech Marty-Staal-Fast TT-Kuzy-Noesen The only problem is figuring the odd man out between Necas, Svech, and TT for the 2nd line (unless we wanted to go Necas at C and move Drury to the 4th line). I like the way Necas has looked in the series more than TT so I will go Necas on line 2.

Hopefully we can stop hitting shots into Igor's chest tonight...

I feel like we are caught between a rock and a hard place. I think rod is a good coach and awesome motivator, but definitely is not a good in-game coach and gets exposed by other good coaches that know how to counter our system. But ... Do we really think any other talented coach wants to coach in Carolina? I highly doubt it. If we fire rod and try to get a new coach, I feel pretty confident in saying we will find ourselves back into being an irrelevant team

Amen... This loss is a crusher also. We saw how the long OT loss killed us last year and sadly I expect the same thing to happen again
