  1. Will they though? I don't think Tampa fans even care about their team after the Brady gravy train retired
  2. The good news is that usually when a lot of money is on 1 team, pro sports will usually try and fix it for the other team. Watch the Bucs end up winning by 1 or 2
  3. My god, he sounds dumber and dumber with each passing week. If this is truly something he believes (that a lightweight QB can't get 3 inches on a 4th down sneak), then why the hell haven't you signed a QB that we can bring in to sneak the ball in these situations... Or you know... If you aren't going to sneak it on 4th and very short, how about not calling a dive play up the middle when you know NO is going to blitz everybody possible up the middle
  4. Pretty sure any ounce of optimism we have is quickly extinguished when you get swept by a talent depleted Saints team...
  5. I'm pretty sure any corner that is thrown on an island against a 4.3 elite speed receiver will struggle. And it's hard to say who is responsible for what when we run zone what feels like 90% of the game.
  6. About as bad as last year. Wins over the Jets, Dolphins, and Falcons twice are unimpressive wins, beating a Cowboys team that was pretty banged up was an ok win, then we managed to surprise 2 teams that figured they could just win by showing up. Outside of the falcons week 3 win (where Penix was unspeakably bad) and the Jets win, all of our other wins have come by 3 points... Meanwhile, we have lost games by 16, 5, 29, 31, 10, 11, and 3.... If like 5 plays this season had gone differently, we are a 2 win team. We have had last year's Chiefs type luck in 1-score games and still won't finish above .500. When we regress to the mean next year with 1 score games, we will likely be back to 4-5 wins
  7. Nope, we ended up being underdogs. Opened as an underdog, moved to being a favorite for a little bit, then went back to being an underdog before kickoff
  8. The Panthers have now lost 12 consecutive games they were favored in. The last time they won as favorites - against the Texans in 2021... No better way to let the NFL know you are a dumpster fire franchise than a stat like that...
  9. I say we do 1 better and make him the blocking dummy the rest of the season...
  10. I'll go other and hope Tepper fires himself into the sun... Edit: Just saw your top post, I will go DC then. We all know we will move on from Bryce, but even if we had the best offensive talent in the league, DC would still manage to call ass plays and have us averaging like 17 points a game
  11. This truly has been a recurring theme this year. Once we get to 1st and 15 or worse, it's a guaranteed punt or turnover
  12. Our gameplan was do the exact thing we did against the Saints the first time when we lost and the result was we lost to the Saints again...
  13. Icky didn't do well on the play, but I find it hard to believe Bryce doesn't at least sense that pressure from Chase Young in his periphery. With the area of the field he is looking + Moton blocking his guy and forcing him into a deep pass rush, I don't know how Bryce doesn't see the 20 yards of open space directly in front of him.... Like 90% of QBs recognize that open space and immediately run
  14. Most likely he will be gone. Another team that has more talent on defense will definitely hire him. I get frustrated at a lot of Evero's playcalls also, but let's remember that we are rocking JAGs at like half the spots on our defense. The likes of Wharton, LaBryan Ray, Whitney Houston's ex-husband, whatever turd of the week ILB we have, etc. aren't going to be found on the rosters of the NFL defenses that people think are good... When you refuse to draft defensive players in the first 2 rounds for practically 5 years straight while spending most of your free agent money on offense, this is the talent you are stuck with on defense
  15. Depends on what 4th place teams you get. Having teams like the Vikings and Bengals be the 4th place teams you have to play isn't much better than the 2nd place alternatives IMO. Teams improve/get worse year-to-year, so I don't think schedule strength is that big of a deal, especially when injuries like Mahomes tearing his ACL happens. Chiefs will be a 4 win team next year if Mahomes doesn't play in 2026
  16. I'd be thrilled if we somehow finish last in the division - means we get a better draft pick since we aren't making the playoffs
  17. Evero has his weaknesses, but it's hard to tell how much of it is him when we have a comically bad pass rush. Crazy enough, this is probably the most I have seen him blitz this year and I think it failed every single time. Usually our only chance at a sack is if DB beats the double team and gets interior pressure. Otherwise, the QB will have at least 5 seconds to throw the ball
  18. In case you didn't know, DC refers to Canales, not Evero. Evero has done fine this year
  19. My lord, that checkdown is even more open than I originally thought when I saw the play live...
  20. Lol, lets pinpoint the like 1 play where Icky wasn't excellent and say that's the reason we lost... Instead of complaining about that, complain about Bryce not throwing the checkdown or our retarded coach not running the ball when we are at the 40 and only need 20ish yards to have a chance for a game winning FG...
  21. I am still baffled why we have never tried one ever with Bryce. It's not like Russ or Kyler Murray or any other short king QB has never run one... Just baffling why we not only never call a QB sneak on 4th and inches, but we call the dumbest, slowest developing inside run in the world to guarantee we get stopped
  22. It's over (and has been since the preseason). We might make the playoffs because the Bucs are also ass, but we are going to get beatdown Pats/Bills style in the 1st round of the playoffs if we do somehow make the playoffs. Outside of 2 fluke wins against the Rams and Packers, we are honestly no different from last year.
  23. While I agree, the Saints were also having 10+ minute scoring drives. The Saints pulled our gameplan and limited possessions in the game. And while the yards looks bad, we really didn't call that many pass plays + Bryce actually made the right decisions for once scrambling/running when there wasn't anybody open. Outside of Coker, it seemed like none of our receivers got open yesterday. It's just annoying that we knew what the Saints would do on defense from the 1st time we played them and still decided to run up the middle against a 9 man box for half the game while still refusing to call any deep passes to make them adjust their defense. We called 2 designed deep pass plays and Bryce went 2/2 for like 70 yards on them...
  24. Not sure about that one. Everybody knows the NFC South is Sh it Mountain and most years a .500ish record (or worse) wins the division. Sadly, if the Bucs didn't have every good player get hurt for them this year, they probably would have already clinched the division. Won't matter for them I guess since they will clinch the division against us next week
